From the Risle valley, follow the small winding roads through the superb Montfort forest: right on the edge, the Gîte du Chastel offers a beautiful bubble of oxygen, facing fields as far as the eye can see. The house has been refurbished and is very welcoming, with modern equipment and comforts, contemporary decor and a few pieces of antique furniture, a nod to its origins. You'll find all the hallmarks of a true vacation home, with plenty of space to sit comfortably both inside and out, deckchairs and garden furniture perfect for enjoying the great outdoors, on the wooden terrace or in the shade of the ash trees, games ... Cécile and Samson, your neighbors, will give you a warm welcome and tell you all about their beautiful region, between the Seine and Risle valleys, close to the Côte Fleurie or Pont-Audemer, a small town with character and narrow streets along the water.

Holiday cottage on one level: entrance into the large living room with its modern, functional kitchen, comfortable dining area and cosy lounge with sofa (convertible for emergency use) and 2 armchairs; digital TV. The room offers access to the wooden terrace, on the intimate rear side, or to the garden on the other side, under the fresnes. A half-step leads to the two pastel-toned bedrooms, one with a large 160x200 double bed, the other with 2 single beds. Attractive bathroom with large walk-in shower, vanity unit, towel warmer and washing machine area; separate toilet next door. The garden is spacious (600 m²), completely private and enclosed. Table tennis. Plenty of local walks to the Forest or GR 224.
