A pleasant vacation home in a lovely, peaceful village with ecomuseums on the edge of the Brotonne forest.

This former presbytery, dating from the late 18th century, is an elegant family home with typical wood panelling, which Hervé is keen to bring up to date. Part of it has now been turned into a really pleasant, spacious and bright vacation home. The ambience is delightful: contemporary, family heirloom or antique furniture decorates the rooms, which are characteristic of these beautiful old houses, with their exposed beams, large windows, fireplaces and antique cupboards.
You're in the heart of a lovely Roumois village, on the edge of the Brotonne forest, which covers an entire meander of the Seine. The scenery is superb, with incredible panoramic views of the river, walks through fields of flax and wheat, through woods and picturesque villages. In terms of leisure activities, you can start your program with a visit to one of the local eco-museums: Maison du Sabotier, Four à Pain, Jardin des Herbes Sauvages, the astonishing thousand-year-old yew trees converted into a chapel and, 3 km away, the Maison du Linen.

Ground floor entrance: bright living room with cozy fireplace and dining area, modern, well-equipped kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower, vanity unit and toilet. ON THE FIRST FLOOR: two warm, spacious bedrooms with exposed beams: the double, with its pretty parquet floor and view of the church and thousand-year-old yew trees (160x200 bed), has access to a toilet with washbasin, and the triple, with double and single beds and a sitting area. The Holiday cottage adjoins the owners' holiday home and another accommodation on the second floor (ref 1494). You'll enjoy a well-separated private garden of approx. 250 m² with furniture for eating and relaxing, then access to the large, fully enclosed communal area recently planted with beautiful trees. Table tennis and badminton for outdoor play (to be shared with the second Holiday cottage), plenty of board games for indoors.
