Domaine Marcel

In a small corner of the Countryside in Normandy, discreet paths covered with arches of foliage lead you to Domaine Marcel. As soon as you enter the gates, you'll feel confident that you've come to the right place. They've fallen in love with this beautiful property, which they're determined to make the most of, starting with this former bread oven dating from 1850, now an adorable little vacation home; they'll tell you all about the history of the place and the tribute to the young Marcel. Chic, elegant interior, warm, colorful atmosphere around the superb brick and stone bread oven, well-chosen antique or family furniture, and always with your comfort in mind: cozy comforters, fine linens, top-notch bedding and equipment, meticulous finishing touches. The park is magnificent, with an area just for you where you can stroll, play or rest and watch the house cats or any animals that may get lost there, such as deer. Ground floor: entrance to spacious living room with cosy lounge, dining area around convivial round table and well-equipped kitchen. Bright bathroom with toilet, large shower, vanity unit and towel radiator. UPSTAIRS: 2 pretty attic bedrooms, real cocoons: on the right, the small blue one offers an unobstructed view of the park and Countryside: double bed 140x200. To the left, the larger room has a 160x200 double bed and seems to be nestled in the trees. On the large one-hectare property, you'll enjoy your own private garden of over 1,500 m² and part of the park shared with the owners, where you can stroll or play in the undergrowth; relaxing furniture including a hammock and outdoor meals. The area is superb, 40 minutes from the coast and only 9 km from Cormeilles, a pretty little village full of character. You can also walk to Lieurey for your shopping.
