Here's the ideal spot for your next vacation in a peaceful, typically Norman corner of the countryside: step through the wisteria-covered gate in springtime, and you're somewhere else! Imagine an immense landscaped garden of almost one hectare, with lots of little nooks and crannies where you can relax, read or chat, with the Risle river in the background: sit on the wooden terrace on stilts and watch the swans and ducks pass by to the gentle sound of the lapping water. Idyllic! The little gîte is just as charming, cozy and "so british". Cheryl has furnished it with your comfort in mind, and offers you a warm welcome full of little touches. Depending on what you'd like to discover, she'll show you her world as a ceramic artist and her workshops; you'll find hints of this as you stroll through the garden.
The region is superb, between valley and forest, Pont Audemer and Le Bec-Hellouin, and the friendly little town of Brionne 9 km away.

Holiday cottage: entrance into bright, spacious living room with modern kitchen, comfortable dining area and lounge (sofa converts into 2 x 80x200 beds), TV. A bright bedroom, all in white and blue, with double bed (160x200), closet and dressing table. Attractive shower room with large walk-in shower, 2 basins and toilet; towel radiator. The Holiday cottage has its own private terrace under the wisteria, with 2 sets of garden furniture. It is attached to Cheryl's house but independent. The large garden is almost 1 hectare in size, with grassland, kitchen garden and orchard, fully enclosed except for the river bank, which is unprotected. Depending on the mood, games are available: petanque pitch, swing or table tennis. The GR224 is just 500m away and takes you on a tour of the valley. Fly-fishing directly in the river with permit (trout)
