Nestled between the meandering banks of the Seine, you'll enjoy a soothing stay in this charming guest house, just a stone's throw from the banks of the river, which can take you on beautiful walks. Art and history lovers will love discovering this region with its rich heritage: 25 km away is Giverny, the mythical village of Claude Monet and many other painters, and nearby Les Andelys and its medieval castle, as well as Gaillon, a small city with a Renaissance castle. Dominique warmly welcomes you to this pretty walled property, in the shade of the old lime tree. She'll be happy to tell you all about this superb region and its nuggets to discover, but also about her passion: enamels. The typical country house has been ecologically renovated with solar heating, and carefully decorated to create a cocooning atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home.
ON THE FIRST FLOOR: the "Vieux tilleul" room, in light tones, is very bright and opens out onto the garden and the lime tree through its large bay window. It has a 160x190 double bed. The colorful "Val de Seine" room is spacious and comfortable, with three 90x200 single beds and a lovely view of the Countryside. Each room has its own private bathroom and toilet. On the ground floor you'll find the living room, where you can enjoy your gourmet breakfast, overlooking the pretty garden and kitchen garden. The large 700m² exterior is enclosed and ideal for a game of table tennis. An outdoor electric charging station is available for your vehicle, on request (chargeable service). If you are coming by train, please contact the owners beforehand to discuss transport arrangements.

Je pratique l'émail sur métaux cuivre ou acier dans un atelier installé par Francis et nos garçons. C'est une matière magique qui joue avec la lumière et le chatoiement des couleurs transparentes sur les métaux. Quant à l'acier c'est sa dureté et sa facilité de mise en oeuvre qui sont sollicités. Je vous ferais découvrir ces matières si vous le voulez.

Nous avons été accueillis par les propriétaires charmants et attentifs à nos attentes. Nous avons eu une grande chambre donnant sur le jardin. L'endroit est absolument calme. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et de qualité.
Si nous devons revenir dans la région, je n'hésiterai pas à reprendre contact avec les propriétaires. Je recommande tout particulièrement ce gîte.- Cleanliness

Frédérique Très agréable séjour
Maison très agréable, au calme dans un méandre de la Seine, mais proche des grands axes et de plusieurs sites touristiques. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux, la chambre confortable avec des rangements, l'accueil très chaleureux par le couple de propriétaires, qui est de bon conseil pour les activités et restaurants aux alentours. Nous reviendrons !

A great stay in this chambre d’hote which was well
placed to visit Giverny and Les Andelys. The host was extremely welcoming and attentive to detail and provided us with a lot of interesting local information. We had a large airy room with an open view onto the garden and countryside. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was spotless. The bathroom appeared to have been recently renovated. The breakfast was generous and included local produce, very tasty apple juice and different breads and jams. We would recommend and return if we were in the area.PS the bedroom was situated at the top of a fairly steep set of stairs which may not suit a guest with mobility issues.

b ulnissimo notre séjour au vieux tilleul
Excellent accueil dans un joli gite. Literie très confortable et salle de bains parfaitement équipée. le petit déjeuner est plus que bon et les hôtes font la conversation très simplement.
