Nestled in the bucolic landscapes of the Risle valley, a peaceful and wild little village at the heart of which lies this adorable vacation home. You'll love the authentic, friendly atmosphere, where it's good to come and recharge your batteries. Elen and Nicolas have created a cosy cocoon with a contemporary decor, while preserving the soul of this old house. It's bright and well-equipped. Plus: a lovely, fully enclosed garden with a sofa and armchairs for relaxing, a lovely wooden terrace for al fresco dining and a play area with a slide for the little ones.
The region is superb to discover, with Pont-Audemer, the little Venice of Normandy and its canals, a very pleasant, dynamic little City, Le Bec Hellouin, a small village with flower-filled streets, half-timbered houses and its abbey, the incredible Marais Vernier, a large nature reserve, or the Montfort and Brotonne Forests, you'll be spoilt for choice.
Ground floor: entrance, with on one side the double living room with TV lounge and dining area near the wood-burning stove, and on the other the well-equipped kitchen with a second dining area. A double bedroom (160x200 bed) with direct access to the garden. Retro shower room and separate toilet. Large, practical laundry room with storage space. The staircase leads to 2 pretty bedrooms with parquet flooring: the twin, whose 2 single beds can be made into a double on request, with a beautiful view over the valley, and the very small double bedroom. Shower room with toilet. A large, completely enclosed garden of approx. 500 m² is yours to enjoy: wooden terrace with dining furniture, and relaxation area with armchairs. Play area with slide.

famille vacances en Normandie
Pour la quatrième année consécutive, nous avons passé le réveillon du Nouvel An en Normandie, chaque fois dans un endroit différent. Le gîte était très bien, facilement accessible et situé à proximité des commerces et des lieux de visite. Un grand plus pour nous, famille avec deux adolescents, la cuisine équipée avec un grand réfrigérateur, un congélateur et un four ! Un petit bémol dans la cuisine : la cafetière, qui met plus d'une demi-heure pour faire une pot de café. Le détartrage est peut-être la solution.
Les casseroles et poêles sont de très bonne qualité, nous sommes fans de la poêle Creuset !
Comme il faisait très froid, nous avons eu quelques problèmes avec l'électricité, mais le propriétaire s'est montré très serviable via WhatsApp et sa maman (une dame très gentille !) est même venue nous aider.
Un avantage indéniable, avec un étudiant dans le groupe, était le wifi très stable. Pour nous, Flamands, c'était également très agréable que la télévision soit une smart TV et que nous puissions installer des applications pour regarder nos propres programmes télévisés.Traduit avec DeepL.com (version gratuite)

les copines repos en Normandie
Nous avons passé des belles vacances dans ce gîte très comfortable et le jardin relax. La cuisine est super équipée. Le hôte et sa maman sont super sympa et toujours prêts à aider en cas de problèmes. Le petit village calme et la vallée de la Risle sont une découverte. Bonne base pour des excursions vers les plus beaux villages de la Normandie et la côte.
