Located just a few minutes from Arromanches, the Susan B Anthony gîte (named after an American warship) will be the ideal base for a duo stay in the heart of the D-Day beaches and sites. By following the tourist route or cycling along the vélo-maritime, you can reach Grandcamp-Maisy via the villages and sites that are a must for remembrance tourism (Omaha Beach, the American cemetery at Colleville sur mer, the Pointe du Hoc). For gourmets, Le Bessin is also a gastronomic destination: seafood, cheese and cream, cider and apple juice, and the famous Isigny sur mer ice creams and caramels.
