For a seaside getaway with the whole family, stay at Gîte du Ver Galant, a lovely, fully-renovated stone village house. Quality furniture, top-of-the-range bedding and meticulous decoration make this a very pleasant vacation home. For moments of idleness, take advantage of its small south-facing garden. Located in the heart of the village (bakery and supermarket nearby), you can walk to the peaceful beaches of Ver sur Mer or the British Memorial, which offers a spectacular view of Gold Beach.
This holiday cottage is attached to a year-round residence, located in the village of Ver-sur-Mer and across from the owner’s home. The ground floor features an air-conditioned living room with a sitting area (sofa, armchairs), a dining area, and a fully equipped open kitchen, as well as a separate restroom. The first floor features a bedroom for two people (one 160 cm x 200 cm bed), a small single bedroom (one bunk bed, with the option for one additional bed), a separate toilet, and a bathroom. The second floor features an attic bedroom for two people (two 90 cm beds that can be combined into one 180 cm bed). Private garden (located 30 meters from the holiday cottage) with patio furniture, lounge chairs, and a barbecue. Free firewood for two fires. Non-smoking holiday cottage. Brian Amazing and comfortable stay
Location was perfect for what we needed and the visitation of the Normandy sites. The owner was extremely nice and helpful with anything and everything we needed. It made the experienced of being the area that much more pleasurable. Thank you again for such an amazing stay!

Gabriele Freundlicher Empfang durch die Eigentümerin
Wir waren für knapp zwei Wochen zu zweit im Gite Le Ver Galant. Die Vermieterin hat uns sehr freundlich und lebhaft empfangen und alles erklärt. Die Aufteilung des Hauses ist gut, es ist auch für eine Familie geeignet. Gefallen hat uns das Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett. Leider befindet sich dort kein Kleiderschrank, nur eine Kommode. Der Schrank ist im Badezimmer untergebracht, in einer selbst mit Tritthocker kaum erreichbaren Höhe. Das Badezimmer könnte durch eine Renovierung wieder deutlich an Attraktivität gewinnen. Unter dem Doppelwaschtisch befindet sich ein derzeit sehr muffig riechender Schrank und der Geruch erfüllt das ganze Badezimmer. Für Menschen mit einer empfindlichen Nase also nicht so geeignet. Auch wäre es gut, die Duschtüre und manche Fuge zu ersetzen.
In der Küche gibt es ausreichend Geschirr, Gläser, Besteck sowie Töpfe und Pfannen. Allerdings riechen auch die Küchenschränke ziemlich muffig.
Der Garten grenzt wie bei Gites de France beschrieben nicht direkt an die Unterkunft. Es ist ein schöner Platz mit Gartenmöbeln, die allerdings sauberer sein könnten. Dass im Garten die Mülltonnen stehen, direkt neben dem gemauerten Grill (der bei unserem Aufenthalt mit leeren Flaschen und allerlei Unrat gefüllt war) ist sehr schade. Leider fanden wir auf der Wiese die Hinterlassenschaften des überaus netten Hundes der Eigentümerin vor, so dass man sich ungern ins Gras legen wollte.Christina Lintz haben wir ein Feedback gegeben über die beschriebenen Punkte und sie hat sie positiv aufgenommen und wollte sich darum kümmern. Wir sind wegen des angekündigten "Bloquons tout" Streiktages 3 Tage früher abgereist und Christina hat uns angeboten, diese irgendwann kostenlos nachzuholen. Ein faires Angebot!
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist gut, der Bäcker schräg gegenüber ist super. Der kleine Supermarkt, auch gleich nebenan, hat fast alles, was man so braucht. Vielleicht etwas teurer als im Super U, aber dafür kauft man in angenehmer Atmosphäre ein.
