Enjoy this large Holiday cottage for family or friends in the Countryside, just 15 minutes from Caen and 30 minutes from the Sea. This old house has been carefully renovated to offer you a warm and comfortable interior. The dining room is ideal for your meals, and the living room with its large fireplace promises pleasant evenings. On the garden side, the Holiday cottage benefits from a 3000m² park with century-old trees, ideal for relaxation and rest. You can buy vegetables from the owners' farm next door. Shops are just 5 minutes away. Near the Holiday cottage, discover the Jean Bosco wood for beautiful Hiking trails and the archeological site of Vieux la Romaine. The nearest beach is 30 minutes away, and the D-Day landing beaches are 45 minutes away. And for hiking and running enthusiasts, the Holiday cottage is located on the Odon trail, close to the GR 221 and the Odon Valley.

The first floor comprises a fitted kitchen, dining room, laundry room, WC, living room with fireplace, a 1-person bedroom (1 x 90x200cm bed), small shower room and separate WC. From this bedroom, access to another 2-person bedroom upstairs (2 twin 80x200cm beds). The second floor (accessible from the entrance) comprises a 2-person bedroom (1 bed 160x200cm) and washbasin, a 2-person bedroom (2 beds 90x200cm), bathroom with WC, and a 2-person bedroom (1 bed 160x200cm) accessible from the previous bedroom or bathroom. Mes amis et moi avions réservé ce gîte a l'occasion de mon anniversaire et nous avons passé un excellent séjour !
Le gîte est charmant, conforme aux photos, a la description et très bien équipé. La literie est très confortable. Quelques produits ménagers et d'hygiène de base auraient être été appréciés, surtout que nous sommes arrivés un jour férié (liquide vaisselle, savon pour les mains par exemple). La communication avec les hôtes a été fluide et agréable. Nous avons pleinement profité des extérieurs et du parc. Le gîte est idéalement situé pour visiter la région (Caen, plages du débarquement, Suisse Normande). Je recommande vivement ce logement ainsi que leurs hôtes et je n'hésiterai pas a revenir. Le "Paradis" porte bien son nom !- Cleanliness

nrg82 Charming Countryside House Near Caen
We had a wonderful stay at Le Paradis! The owners gave us a warm and friendly welcome, making us feel right at home from the very beginning. The location is perfect — peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet just a short drive from Caen, the D-Day landing beaches, and within reasonable distance of Mont Saint-Michel.
The house is beautifully equipped with everything you might need. It’s spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. Our children especially loved the huge garden — plenty of space to run and play safely. We also enjoyed visiting the nearby farm where we could buy fresh vegetables straight from the producer.
We would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-located stay in the Normandy countryside.

Greg Very Impressed with Paradis
Everything that was advertised online about Paradis was true - and better. The home and yard are very spacious. The beds are comfortable, the heat excellent. The kitchen was very well stocked with all necessary items to cook for a big family. The living room has a big fireplace that we used every night. We didn't need anything. The surrounding area is tranquil farmland, and a very convenient vegetable vending machine less than 500 feet from Paradis. The entire Paradis is totally renovated, bright, and well lighted inside. Our host owner was extremely friendly and spoke very good English so I could learn about the area. I plan on staying there again when I bring different family members. Paradis is located within an hour's reach of many historic sites in Normandy making it very convenient to drive. This is probably the best facility we've stayed in both in USA or Europe.

Un grand MERCI aux propriétaires pour leur accueil dans leur magnifique gite très bien équipé pour d'excellentes fêtes de Noel en famille.
A défaut de profiter des extérieurs ( hormis notre chienne ) en cause la très mauvaise météo nous avons apprécié les soirées au coin du feu et le calme environnant.
