3 kms from the beaches of Merville-Franceville and Varaville, discover this quality Holiday cottage in a quiet, leafy setting. This modern construction was built using authentic Caen stone and is set in the grounds of a small 2-hectare château. You'll appreciate the south-facing terrace, sheltered from the wind. In winter, the fireplace will warm you up after your walks. The horse-themed interior is decorated in a "Countryside-chic" style. You can visit the property with its bicentenary trees, apple orchards and enclosed meadows for horses. From the Holiday cottage, follow the signposted footpaths to the beaches of Merville or Varaville, the Merville battery, the bay of Sallenelles, etc., on foot, by bike or on horseback. The thalassotherapy center and the charming City of Cabourg are 10 minutes away.
Detached house on the property. The first floor comprises a large living room with kitchen area, dining room and lounge area with sofa (convertible on request), shower room with wc. The attic floor includes 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed 160x200cm and one with two single beds 90x190cm), bathroom with wc. Terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs and charcoal barbecue. Horses can be accommodated in meadows and/or boxes at extra charge. Games and books for Kids and adults.

Bonjour et bienvenue au gîte Le Paddock du Haras Saint Roch, un lieu orienté sur la communication et le bien être de l'animal. Suédois d'origine, mon mari et moi sommes installés en Normandie depuis 29 ans où nous profitons d'un cadre de vie enchanteur, dans un petit château, entouré d'arbres bicentenaires et de pommiers de variétés anciennes que nous nous attachons à préserver. Le gîte se trouve devant les écuries, les paddocks de chevaux et la carrière de dressage.
Nous serons heureux de partager avec vous ce cadre et la proximité des grandes plages de Débarquement de Normandie.

Nous avons passé un séjour très reposant dan ce gîte très confortable où tout est prévu pour être comme à la maison. Dehors il faisait un peu frais pour un mois de mai, mais il faisait bon rentrer au gîte ! Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié l'accueil de Cécilia et reviendrons sûrement car c'est un endroit idéal pour profiter de la Normandie (et surtout du Pays d'Auge)

Très belle maison, au milieu des paddocks.
Tout est à portée de main.
Le gîte est confortable, bien équipé et connecté.
Entre Arromanche et Houlgate, en passant par Cabourg, nous avons également profité du centre ville de Merville, de ses commerces et de ses commodités, de sa plage et des nombreuses attractions pour les enfants.
En plus, la Normandie sous le soleil sans une goutte de pluie, c’était une première :-)

Matthias We had a wonderful time
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this beautiful holiday home, where we wanted for nothing. The location of the house is perfect for relaxing on the huge property, but it is also an ideal base for exploring the Allied landing beaches, the Route du Cidre and the nearby towns of Bayeux and Caen. The lovely landlords Cecilia and Erik took great care of us and gave us lots of good tips, so that we will remember our first holiday in Normandy very fondly.

Le Paddock de St. Roch ist ein schönes und ein sehr geschmackvoll dekoriertes Ferienhaus. Es hat alles, um hier einen erholsamen Urlaub in naturnaher Umgebung zu verbringen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die Ruhe und Gastfreundschaft von Cecilia und Erik genossen. Das Ferienhaus bietet den idealen Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge: Cabourg, Deauville, Trouville sur mer, die Landungsstrände, Honfleur, Beuvron en Auge, Lisieux, Caen, Falaise, Harras National du Pin ...
Der Strand von Merville-Fraceville Plage lädt zu langen und erholsamen Spaziergängen ein. Wir haben hier einen wundervollen Urlaub verbracht.- Cleanliness
