All the comforts of home in this former oil mill, restored as an Ecogîte® with respect for its authenticity and the environment (2017 René Fontaine/Fondation du Patrimoine Award): lime plaster, local stone and brick, untreated local wood, wood heating, etc. You’ll appreciate the cozy interior of the very spacious living room and the tranquility along the river that runs alongside the holiday cottage (secure). The holiday cottage is ideally located for exploring the magnificent landscapes of Suisse-Normande. Numerous hiking trails (GR 221, PR, Tour de la Suisse Normande, Chemin du Mont-Saint-Michel, and horseback riding trails of the national stud farms) are right at your doorstep. As hikers ourselves, we have put together a comprehensive and practical guidebook featuring about twenty different hikes that form beautiful loops along the rural paths starting from the holiday cottage. The D-Day beaches and the Côte de Nacre are an hour away, while Deauville, Granville, and the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel are 1 hour and 20 minutes away.
