A very pleasant place for an en route stopover

We chose the moulin because it was exactly half way between the Eurotunnel and the place in Brittany which we had rented for the week. We arrived in torrential rain (nobody's fault!) and Pierre & Claudine couldn't have been more welcoming, offering to telephone the restaurant which we had booked for dinner to say we would be a bit late to lending us an umbrella etc etc. The room was very clean and comfortable and contained a very flash jacuzzi style bath which we didn't have time to use. However, the breakfast we received the next morning was fantastic! We ate at a long wooden table that seats 24 people with a log fire roaring because it was a wet morning and the breakfast was more like lunch, there was so much of it, so no need to have lunch the following day. We were the only guests that night but we were made to feel very welcome and I would recommend to anyone who wants to get off the motorway and experience a bit of the real Normandy countryside!
