Situated 30 minutes from Cabourg, in the heart of the Pays d'Auge and its stud farms, the "Gîte du Hameau Forgeant" is ideal for a quiet family holiday: enclosed garden, plenty of children's play equipment, bicycles and baby facilities. The interior is bright and airy, and you'll love the cozy fireplace in the living room. Quick access to all shops and services: Mézidon, Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives and Lisieux are 10 minutes away.
Detached Holiday cottage located near a small farm (10 cows). First floor: fitted kitchen opening onto a large living room with sitting area (sofa, armchairs and wood-burning stove), shower room, WC. Attic floor: 2 independent bedrooms (1 x 140 cm double bed and 2 x 90 cm single beds), WC. Garden with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue. Outdoor games and bicycles available (2 adults and 2 Kids). Holiday cottage not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Gîte spacieux, refait à neuf, très confortable.
A quelques kilomètres de toutes commodités.
Nous y avons passé quelques jours pour y fêter le nouvel an. Belles décorations de Noël dans le séjour.
Accueil chaleureux d'Isabelle et de Jean-Paul.
Rien ne manquait à notre séjour! Je recommande.

Very relaxing and peaceful stay in Pays d’Auge countryside. The neighbours are cows! Large garden enabling badminton and boules matches ( we took our own equipment) . Good interior design, fully equipped for all needs, very homely. WiFi, tv and hairdryer provided.
Short drive to St Pierre sur Dives or St Julien le Faucon for supplies or a bit further to towns at Falaise and Livarot for more varied appeal. An excellent base for exploring ‘basse Normandie’.- Cleanliness

Nina Magnifique séjour au Hameau Forgeant
Accueil très chaleureux de la part de nos hôtes. La maison, dans son cadre de verdure, est un véritable Havre de paix. Elle est très bien située pour visiter le magnifique Pays d'Auge, la côte de Nacre, les plages du débarquement et tout le Calvados. Merci encore à M et Mme Richard pour leur gentillesse et leur simplicité.
