For a very comfortable, peaceful stay in the heart of nature, discover the Gîte de l'Etang, a former stable and barn that has been perfectly renovated in keeping with the region's old farmhouses. A cosy lounge by the fireplace, spacious bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, a private gym and a covered outdoor spa are just some of the features of this tastefully decorated gîte. Bicycles are available to take you to the center of town or along the pretty country roads. You can also walk to the Balleroy forest for family walks, pick-your-own fruit or simply listen to the stag bellow in late summer. The D-Day beaches (Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, etc.) are 20 minutes away, and Bayeux 15 minutes.
The Holiday cottage is adjoining the owners' home. The first floor comprises a living room with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area (sofas and wood-burning stove), a 2-person bedroom (1 x 160cm bed) with en-suite shower room, and a separate toilet. Upstairs is a 2-person bedroom (2 beds 90cm, which can be made into 1 bed 180cm) with en-suite shower room, separate WC, Sports hall (treadmill, total crash, bike and weight machine) with sleeping area (comfortable BZ bed: possibility of 2 extra beds) and en-suite shower room. The Holiday cottage has a private enclosed garden with terrace, private 4-seater Spa, deckchairs and barbecue. Bicycles available. Petanque court. Not accessible to people with reduced mobility. In an annex close to the Holiday cottage: gaming room with table soccer, table tennis and darts.

Séjour incroyable!
Gite situé dans un endroit calme, paisible au milieu de la nature.
Le gîte est très bien équipé: jaccuzi avec toit, important si il pleut, salle de sports avec de nombreux appareils de musculation, des vélos à disposition....
Les propriétaires super accueillants, disponibles, souriants...
Et le plus: le gite est nettoyé avec minutie: de l intérieur des tiroirs, douche, appareils électriques tout est nickel! Chapeau.

De belles attentions de la part des hôtes dès notre arrivée. Nous n’avons manqué de rien.
Très agréable séjour passé entre amis au sein de ce gîte très joliment rénové et très bien équipé. Jardin calme et reposant avec son jacuzzi, d’où nous avons eu la chance d’entendre les brames de cerfs le soir.
Très bien situé pour faire le tour des plages du débarquement et autres lieux historiques.
Bon à savoir : leur chien Lux est impressionnant de prime abord mais extrêmement gentil !
