This spacious, comfortable and well-equipped stone house guarantees you a pleasant stay in a peaceful setting 3 km from the sea and the D-Day landing beaches. Don't miss Bayeux, a city of art and history just 10 minutes away. Secure parking in enclosed garden. Free Wifi access. Wellness area at the owners' home 5 minutes away (Spa and sauna available at extra cost).
Detached house. First floor: living room with fitted kitchen area, sitting room with sofas, WC. First floor: 2 independent bedrooms: 1 bedroom for 2 with shower and washbasin (1 bed 140cm, possibility of 1 additional bed), 1 bedroom for 4 (2 beds 140cm), landing with desk, shower room with WC. Garden with garden furniture and deckchairs. Terrace. Porch. The owner also rents 3 other Holiday cottages (3007, 1571, 1938) and Bed and breakfast (5750) in the same area.

Nous aimons accueillir et partager avec nos hôtes les richesses de notre belle Normandie réputée pour sa campagne, sa côte et son histoire (plages du débarquement de 1944, ville médiévale de Bayeux et sa Tapisserie…).

Calo Super gîte dans une belle region
Le gîte est fort bien equipé, propre, et d’une taille parfaite pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Seul le salon pourrait être plus « cosy » mais le fait que tout le
Linge de maison soit inclus rend le séjour vraiment très facile.
Les indications fournies par la propriétaire des lieux sont très complètes.
La maison est au calme et son jardin environnant est de bonne taille pour s’y détendre et permettre au chien (petit teckel) de gambader.
Cette région du Bessin est une belle découverte pour moi côté campagne, et côté mer l’histoire du DDay est passionnante.

Property chosen for its proximity to the Normandy beaches and Bayeux and prove to be excellent for both.
Being able to travel with and provide a safe environment for our dogs were other key priorities and La Douaire was ideal.
While occupying as a couple, the property would be idea for up to 5 people and represents very good value for money.
Internally and externally the accommodation generous and well set out, pleasant garden capturing sun throughout the day.
The welcome gift was appreciated and the property owner could not have been more helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this property.- Cleanliness

Jeroen Aarts Very nice stay
We had a very nice stay at the gite. We were very warmly welcomee by the owners. The rooms are all spacious en comfortable, the large enclosed garden is fantastic. Bayeux and the main WWII landing beaches are only a short drive away.
