For a quiet getaway for two, discover the charming Cottage de Cour la Ville. You'll appreciate its typical Norman style, with half-timbering and a large bay window in the living room that opens onto nature. You'll have access to a private terrace and a vast flower-filled property. On site, you'll enjoy a heated swimming pool in season. Everything is designed for your comfort, with quality bedding, sheets and towels provided. You're just 5 minutes from Pont L'Évêque and its many shops and markets, and 15 minutes from Deauville and Trouville.
Detached house on the property comprising the owners' residence and two other Holiday cottages (ref. 3025 and 3041). Access via an outdoor staircase (mezzanine level): living room with open kitchen, sofa, bathroom with toilet, and sleeping area with two Twin beds (80x200 cm). Terrace with garden furniture and lounge chairs. Property of over 1.5 hectares with a Piscine, ping-pong table, trampoline, and shared swing set. The pool is heated from June 4 to September 30. It measures 12m x 5m with a constant depth of 1.40m. This holiday cottage is not accessible to people with limited mobility.

Arrivés en Normandie il y a quelques années pour des raisons professionnelles, nous avons très vite été conquis, ma famille et moi même par les multiples facettes de cette région, les nombreuses activités à découvrir et la belle qualité de vie qu'elle offre avec ses grands espaces, la mer à proximité...
Nous souhaitions investir dans une maison de caractère, typique du pays d'Auge, spacieuse et familiale. Lorsque nous avons visité Cour la ville, nous avons littéralement eu un coup de cœur !
Propriété de caractère, les bâtiments ont chacun une architecture différente mais typique (colombage, brique, ardoise). Son jardin dessiné et planté avec amour par les anciens propriétaires est charmant. Chaque espace est réfléchi et composé comme un tableau associant volume et couleur dans une parfaite harmonie.
L'idée d'ouvrir des gîtes avait un jour été évoquée mais jamais plus avancée. Accueillir, recevoir, partager... Sont des règles de vie que nous vivons et souhaitons transmettre à nos enfants. Et Cour la ville nous permettait aussi ce projet de vie ! C'est ainsi que l'aventure a commencé cet été 2019, pour, nous l'espérons, de nombreuses années !

Esther A little paradise
A very nice little house with a beautiful garden where you can find peace (and beautiful Hortensia's!). The kitchen is small but very sufficient to make your own meals. It is located centrally so you can visit the beautiful towns like Étretat, Honfleur, Bayeux, Caen, etc. But you can stay perfectly for hours in your own little house and read!

Gerrit Plaats om tot rust te komen
Ons tijdelijk tweepersoons verblijf bevindt zich op een landgoed waar naast de eigenaren nog 2 andere gastenverblijven zich bevinden; 1 voor 4 en de ander voor 8 personen. In het weekend dat wij er waren werd deze door buren gebruikt waarbij ipv 8 personen denk ik het dubbele aantal er was. Dit heeft impact op de sfeer (rust) terwijl het zwembad ook niet berekend is op een dergelijk aantal. Verhuurder heeft diverse malen excuses hiervoor aangeboden. Wij vinden de locatie meer geschikt om zeker de 8 persoons accommodatie alleen te verhuren in combinatie met de andere 2 woningen.
Er is een mooie grote tuin waarbij je zelf de zon of juist de schaduw goed op kunt zoeken. Huisregels geven aan dat het zwembad te gebruiken is van 10 tot 18 uur. Navraag leert dat hier niet direct de hand aan wordt gehouden; ervaring leert wel dat kinderen van het eigen gezin in de avonduren vaak gebruik maken van het zwembad; met gebruik van het zwembad hebben wij daar rekening mee gehouden.
Het verblijf zelf is goed gebouwd en goed geisoleerd waardoor je weinig last van de warmte hebt. Vooraf hebben we nog navraag gedaan of er bijv sprake was van een oven; dat is niet het geval. Koffie kan via normale filterkoffieapparaat of via een nespresso apparaat. Koken via inductie (2 pannen tegelijk). Diepvriesgedeelte koelkast werkt minder. Er is sprake van goede wifi in de woning. TV ontvangst via sateliet; hebben daar zelf geen gebruik van gemaakt. Er is geen vaatwasser; voor ons geen probleem.
De bedden zijn goed.Tip om de huiskat niet te voeren; heeft anders de neiging om ook als gast in het verblijf te komen.
Vanuit het verblijf kan je snel de snelweg op en ben je zo in mooie badplaatsen.
