Located 5 minutes from Arromanches and the D-Day Beaches, this spacious family suite is ideal for a family stay close to the sea. You'll have plenty of space for your stay, with a small kitchen and lounge area. For added convenience, Sylvie will serve breakfast directly in your kitchen area, including pastries, a variety of drinks and homemade jam. Be sure to visit Ouistreham and Port en Bessin, as well as Courseulles and Bayeux. Take advantage of the "Loop from Asnelles to Arromanches", which starts a 3-minute drive from the guesthouse. This short hike will enable you to discover Asnelles and Arromanches les Bains, a small seaside town with an artificial harbor built during the Allied landings in Normandy. Take a detour to the Asnelles cookie factory for a tour of the factory and a snack.
In the house, 1st floor (independent access via private outside staircase): private dining area with fridge and microwave oven, shower room with WC. 2nd floor: 1 suite for 4 people, comprising 1 bedroom for 2 people (1 bed 140 cm), 1 additional bedroom for 2 people (2 beds 90 cm) and a lounge area. Garden furniture.

William Ideal location and friendly host - clean and spaci
Lovely rural stay ideal location for D Day landing beaches and war cemeteries. Friendly host. Ample breakfast. Very clean rooms, towels and bedding. The staircase to the bedroom is very steep and narrow, not ideal for old people or young children .

Fast eine ganze Wohnung mit sehr gemütlichen 2 Zimmern unter dem Dach, ausgesprochen ruhige schöne erholsame Umgebung, sehr leckeres Frühstück, idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Strände und Museen, sehr herzliche Gastgeberin - wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, vielen Dank!

Anne Superbe séjour
Nous avons passé un superbe séjour chez Sylvie. Nous avons apprécié tous les matins le petit déjeuner. Le gite est très bien situé proche d'Arromanches et des plages du débarquement.

le clos de quintefeuille est le lieu idéal pour séjourner à proximité des sites dédiés au débarquement de Normandie, thème de notre voyage. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et sympathiques, aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes. Le lieu est calme et reposant pour récupérer des excursions.

SamDOtto A stay at Meauvaines
We had a lovely stay at this well situated Gite at Meauvaines. The stone steps up to the first floor were ancient, and there was situated a room with table, chairs a fridge and microwave. Next door a shower room and WC. Up a beautifully made open oak staircase, that was steep and narrow led to the mezzanine with TV and two bedrooms in the eves. The Velux windows were good, as was the tower fan provided. The photos of the Gite included two of a large living room which was not included. The garden was full of bird song and was shady and well kept. The Gite is close to the sea and Ver sur Mer and Arromanches, but to stay you need good mobility for the stairs. OK for a couple, but tight for more.
