Overlooking the Baie de l'Orne, this peaceful gîte offers exceptional views of the estuary, Ouistreham harbor and its maritime life. Set on the first floor of a contemporary house in a quiet, bucolic setting, it boasts a spacious, bright and well-equipped interior. Down below, discover the Maison de la Nature and the Baie de l'Orne protected natural area, with its signposted footpaths, cycle paths (bicycles + tandem available at the gîte) and ornithological observatories. Franceville, its beach, kitesurf school and shops are less than 3 kilometers away. The gîte's location makes it easy to visit Caen, 15 km away, as well as the entire coastline, from the D-Day beaches of June 1944 to the seaside resorts of Cabourg, Trouville and Deauville.
Apartment on the first floor of the owners' home, with separate entrance. 1st floor: living room with kitchenette, WC with washbasin, bedroom with en-suite bathroom (1 x 140 cm bed), shower room with WC, 2 bedrooms (1 x 140 cm bed, 1 x 90 cm bed and 1 x 80 cm bed). Additional bed (90 cm) available on request. Shared garden and terrace. Horses welcome on request (pasture, box and shelter). Suitable socket for recharging electric vehicles (extra charge €5).

Fanny Très bon séjour
Monsieur Briard est un hôte absolument charmant et il a beaucoup de mérite à son âge d'accueillir des étrangers. Bravo pour son incroyable vitalité. Le gîte a une vue exceptionnelle et un grand herbage bien clôturé avec un abri pour le cheval. J'ai passé une semaine de rêve. Merci donc je recommande vivement aux cavaliers.

COPS90 Superbe endroit
Excellent séjour au "Belvédère" gite avec une situation exceptionnelle qui donne un point de vue magnifique sur la baie de l'Orne et la cote au loin. Le nom n'est pas usurpé !
Nous avons apprécié la tranquillité de l'endroit, et la proximité de Sallenelles et de la baie permettant de magnifiques ballades en partant à pieds du gite. La plage est accessible a pieds (35mn) après une joli ballade le long de la zone protégée et 10mn en voiture. Beaucoup de choses a voir aux environs avec bien sûr les sites du débarquement, hauts lieux et musées ...
Encore merci à Michel, le propriétaire, pour ses conseils, bonnes adresses, et histoire des lieux ... Pour son attention discrète, sa culture et sa malice !

Rairai Splendide
Semaine extra soleil vue splendide sur l'estuaire.belles balades autour de ce dernier. Amabilité du propriétaire qui nous a très bien accueilli avec des produits locaux .il nous a renseigné sur tout ce qu'il y avait à faire dans la région. Nous y reviendrons.le gite est grand et très lumineux.

Katie A great place to stay for a family
A spacious, clean and comfortable place to stay with a wonderful view. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Monsieur Briard welcomed us warmly, had great suggestions and was very kind to our sons. The garden was wonderful - our children enjoyed the toys and meeting the donkeys, chickens and other animals. We had a great week and would recommend this property as a great base for a stay in the area.
