In this attractive, spacious Bungalow, you'll find the authentic spirit of the people of the Sea. The vast garage (120m²) has been converted into a gaming room (ping-pong, basketball, badminton), making it a Kids' paradise. In the garden, you'll find a peaceful terrace with deckchairs. Holiday cottage ideally located in the heart of the D-Day landing sites.

Entrance hall, living room with lounge (sofa and armchairs), open-plan kitchen and dining area, 3 bedrooms: 1 for 3 people (1 bed 160cm and 1 bed 90cm), 1 for 2 people (1 bed 160cm), 1 for 3 people (3 beds 90cm, 2 of which can be converted into 1 bed 180cm), 2 separate shower rooms with WC. KevinC Lovely stay at L'Ancre de Mer
Received a lovely warm welcome from the owners, Valerie & Francois after our arrival from the UK. They showed us how things worked and spoke enough English for us to understand, our French being very rusty. Lots of safe parking and the house itself was lovely and warm during our October stay.
Everything you need for a comfortable stay was there. Very handy Supermarket less than five minutes walk and the main part of Port en Bessin was only 15 mins walk away as well.
Excellent location for a holiday or short break in the lovely Normandy cuntryside. We didnt want to leave!

Léloune Séjour à l'Ancre de mer à Port en Bessin
Séjour très agréable dans ce gîte confortable et bien décoré où rien ne manque. Il est bien situé et on peut aller au centre-ville à pieds.
Nous avons pu nous retrouver en famille, chacun d'entre nous ayant un espace personnel.

Michel et Martine Gite d exception
Tout était réuni pour un delicieux séjour en Normandie en famille (4 adultes et 4 enfants). Le gîte était superbe et décoré avec goût : espace du séjour et des chambres, propreté, situation (300 m à pied du port), proximité des commerces. Le gîte possède non seulement un grand garage avec de multiples jeux, des vélos pour enfants mais aussi un espace extérieur très bien aménagé. Sans oublié le charmant acceuil de notre hôtesse et son attention toute au long de la semaine afin que notre séjour se passe au mieux. A recommander vivement.
