At La Vieille horloge farm, discover the architecture of a typical Bessin farm and the originality of a former cheese factory, where you'll stay in a family gîte overlooking the green Normandy meadows.
At your request and accompanied by the owner, you can discover the dairy herd of Normandy cows: the ones with glasses! The Rocher family, who have been on the site for 5 generations, will tell you all about the history of this place, from the German occupation to the liberation. Long strolls along the D-Day beaches will help you relive these exceptional moments. The beaches of Omaha are only 20 minutes away.
Holiday cottage located in a group of buildings near the owner's home and the farm. First floor: living room with fireplace, sofa and armchairs, fitted kitchen, shower room (Italian shower), WC. Upstairs: 3 adjoining bedrooms (1 double bed, 4 single beds). Garden and private terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.

Bonjour et bienvenue au gîte "La Vieille Horloge". Nous sommes exploitants agricoles et présents sur la ferme depuis 5 générations. Étaient produits ici autrefois les "camemberts de la Vieille Horloge" par ma grand-mère et arrière grand-mère. Aujourd'hui notre lait sert à produire les beurres et crèmes AOP Isigny-Sainte-Mère. Edomene Calme et histoire
Un gîte à la ferme, au calme, bien équipé. Et surtout un accueil chaleureux par Joël, puis au cours du séjour la visite de la ferme par son épouse Agathe. Les enfants étaient captivés et nous, les adultes, fort intéressés par les explications données. Un gîte authentique donc, chargé d'histoire et très confortable. Merci, on reviendra!

Francina Charming gite in rural area.
We had a very pleasant stay at La Vieille Horloge with a family of 4 with older children. The property has all the facilities that we needed, including a very big garden to use and very friendly hosts. The area is very quiet, except for the cows that pass by every day. The gite is close by touristic places and beaches (30 minutes) but in a very rural area.

Couple from Denmark The Best Place for a Week in Normandy
We have spent a wonderful week at "La Vieille Horloge" where we felt extremely welcome and almost at home. Our hosts were very warm and friendly people and gave good recommendations on what to see - also to places not in our guide book. We also benefitted from a visit of the farm where we learned a lot about being a farmer in Normandy and about the history of the family of "La Vieille Horloge". If ever in Normandy again, we will certainly stay here.

Tres bon Accueil familial et convivial de la famille Rocher. Logement et propriété avec une histoire intéressante et locale. Des gens passionnés par leur région qui n'hésitent pas à faire partager leurs connaissances. Il y a des DVD, des jeux de société et un grand jardin pour profiter de l'extérieur. Nous sommes ravis. AVERD59 Un très bel endroit
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce très beau gîte spacieux, propre et très bien équipé. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et disponibles pour faire découvrir la ferme (merci pour les petits-fils) et exposer son histoire lors d'une veillée fort appréciée. Très bien située pour découvrir les sites du Débarquement, nous recommandons cette adresse sans réserves.

Propriétaires accueillants, disponibles tout en étant très discrets et prévenants.
Plaisir à découvrir le terroir et la ferme laitière pour laquelle Mr Rocher partage avec générosité sa passion.
