Located in the heart of the small city of Vire, this charming house has been beautifully renovated to preserve the charm of traditional stone and beam homes, while featuring a modern and tastefully decorated interior. You’ll love the cozy bedrooms and the living room with its fireplace. The elevated garden offers an exceptional view of Vire and Saint Anne Church. The covered terrace, equipped with an outdoor kitchen and a plancha grill, is secluded and ideal for your evenings; you can also enjoy the private pétanque court. The holiday cottage is a 2-minute walk from the shops and restaurants in the city center, and 10 minutes from the train station and the aquatic center for swimming. A small path starting from the holiday cottage leads you to the Vire lock. The region is perfect for hiking and discovering local Norman specialties: andouille sausage, cheeses and other dairy products, apple products, and more. The sea is just 1 hour away—either in Granville or along the Côte de Nacre.

This detached house is located in the Saint Anne neighborhood on the hills above Vire: access is via two flights of stairs, each with 20 steps. The ground floor features a living room with a seating area and a wood-burning stove, as well as a kitchen area (with a Dolce Gusto coffee machine) and a half-bath. The first floor includes a double bedroom (one 160-cm bed), a twin bedroom (two 90-cm beds), a bathroom, and a separate toilet. On the second floor, there is an office area available. The holiday cottage features several outdoor areas: a covered terrace with patio furniture and lounge chairs, an outdoor kitchen with a griddle, a hanging garden, and a landscaped courtyard in front of the cottage with a pétanque court. Small herb garden. Electric roller shutters. You can meet Simba and Scar, the two goats living in a pen at the far end of the garden.
