Detached house with large garden and courtyard for parking vehicles. The first floor comprises an entrance hall, toilet, fitted kitchen, living room with fireplace, double bedroom with 1 double bed (160x200) and en-suite shower room. The attic floor comprises a double bedroom (2 beds 90x190), a shower room and separate toilet.
You also have access to a vast 2-hectare garden adjoining the Holiday cottage and the cottage garden.

Séjour parfait à La Marnière ! Le gîte est charmant, très bien équipé et niché au cœur d’un magnifique jardin. L’accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, Odile et Patrick, a rendu notre semaine encore plus agréable. Un lieu paisible et authentique, idéal pour se ressourcer dans le Pays d’Auge.

CMcDonnell Relaxing peaceful location, friendly hosts
We chose this location so that we could follow the Route du Cidre, the gite is a 50 minute drive from the coast and Sword Beach.
We visited chateaux in the area, the fromagerie and La Machine a Vapeur in Livarot Paya d'Auge; both interesting. We followed the cider route and tasted cider, perry and Calvados.
There are alot of interesting places to visit, we loved the autumn misty mornings and apple filled orchards.
The gite is comfortable, well equipped and we enjoyed our stay.

Nous avons choisi cet emplacement pour pouvoir suivre la Route du Cidre, le gîte est à 50 minutes en voiture de la côte et de Sword Beach.
Nous avons visité les châteaux de la région, la fromagerie et La Machine à Vapeur à Livarot Paya d’Auge ; les deux sont intéressants. Nous avons suivi la route des cidres et dégusté du cidre, du poiré et du Calvados.
Il y a beaucoup d’endroits intéressants à visiter, nous avons adoré les matins brumeux d’automne et les vergers remplis de pommes.
Le gîte est confortable, bien équipé et nous avons apprécié notre séjour.- Cleanliness

Thierry Beautiful house in a lovely environment
A lovely house in a great environment - quiet and peaceful but close to nearby villages. We had a great stay and enjoyed the fire in the beautiful lounge as well as the patio and outdoor space. A real gem.

Odile et Patrick sont toujours aussi accueillants. Le plein de bonnes attentions gourmandes pour leurs locataires. Cette année, nous sommes venus à deux couples pour faire découvrir ce magnifique endroit de la Normandie. emplacement idéal pour visiter des lieux incontournables, faire les marchés et découvrir le pays par ses chemins creux lors de longues randonnées pédestres.

MICAU chaumiere normande dans un cadre magnifique
