Semi-detached house with a Holiday cottage n°2364 (6 people), in a shared courtyard including the owners' home, another Holiday cottage, n°2502 (11 people). First floor: living room with open-plan kitchen, shower room with WC. The 1st floor features a large living room with sofa, armchairs, fireplace, gaming table and recreation of a 1940s classroom, 3 bedrooms including a mezzanine (2 double beds, 2 single beds). Access to the mezzanine is via bedroom 2. Private area in the courtyard with garden table, communal garden with vegetable patch, relaxation area at the end of the property.     Super accueil des proprietaires. Gite personnalisé année 50. Très original et de très bon goût. Gite tout confort. Propreté impeccable. Literie parfaite. Avons l intention d y retourner pour faire les plages du débarquement. Nous le conseillons à tous couple ou famille ou groupe d amis

    Wonderful place

    The gite was comfortable, equipped for basic cooking needs, the hosts extremely friendly, the location for those wishing to visit the beaches of D-Day and beyond is very good and Courseulles Sur Mere is a gem on the Normandy coast. The town is vibrant, has a street market twice a week and everything you could want from a typical French tow.

    A basic understanding of the French language would be a benefit but both of the hosts can understand and communicate in English.

    There is no parking at the gite but a good local carpark is 200 metres away and there is also opportunity to park on the road nearby.
