Located just a few minutes' walk from the beach and in the heart of the D-Day landmarks, La Maison Bleue is a charming, well-equipped vacation home. Whether you're a couple or a family, you'll appreciate the pleasant enclosed garden that surrounds the house, and the 2 garden lounges available for enjoying the morning and evening sun. You'll be in a quiet hamlet, close to the old communal wash-house and on the road leading to Omaha beach and the Colleville American cemetery.
Detached house on private property. The ground floor features a living area: a living room with a fireplace insert (sofa, armchair) that opens onto the fully equipped kitchen; two steps lead to the bathroom and separate toilet. The attic floor consists of a walk-in closet and two adjoining bedrooms: one double bedroom (two 90 cm beds) and one double bedroom (one 140 cm bed). Terrace with patio furniture, gas grill, outdoor shelter, and garden with lounge chairs.

P&C Fantastic little gite
It's a very nice gite. It is complete in every sens. It can have a party of four, but for two adults it's perfect. We had a Chrome cast with us that was compatible with the tv, so we had our own tv channels. The kitchen is complete and has induction. There is a senseo coffee machine (no convential filter one). The bathroom was fine, great shower. We had a problem with the toilet, but the owners did all in their power to solve it to our satisfaction. The bed is a bit hard and low. The heating system is modern and works great. The garden, front and back are very nice and has tables and chairs. The location is fantastic, just minutes from Omaha Beach and is situated in a very quiet spot (except for the many birds). We thank Denise and Pascaline (and her husband) to make us feel very welcome.

Jenny Charming peaceful holiday cottage
La Maison Bleue is a charming holiday cottage in the tiny village of Colleville-sur-Mer, which is handily placed for the wealth of D Day sites and other tourist attractions in the area. The cottage is compact, but well-appointed, and provided everything we needed (apart from a cafetiere!). The immediate surrounding area is beautifully peaceful - virtually no light or noise pollution.
We were made to feel very welcome and were grateful for the bottle of the local produce!- Cleanliness
