This authentic half-timbered farmhouse welcomes you to a little corner of paradise in the heart of the Pays d'Auge. The carefully decorated interior offers a soft, cosy atmosphere. We've thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible: wood-burning stove, comfortable living room and cozy bedrooms. On the garden side, a magnificent view of the Auge hills invites you to relax and unwind. Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to spot some deer around the Holiday cottage! Nearby, you can visit Lisieux and the Cerza Zoo, and reach Deauville or Honfleur in 20 minutes. All shops are 5 minutes away in Lisieux.
The Holiday cottage is independent, set in 2500m² of grounds. The first floor comprises a living room with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area (wood-burning stove and sofa bed), a shower room, separate toilet, laundry room. The attic floor comprises 2 independent bedrooms: 1 for 2 people (1 bed 160cm), 1 for 2 people (1 bed 160cm), a bathroom, separate WC. . Terrace with garden furniture and deckchairs. Extensive grounds with petanque court.

Kaydc Beautiful gite in convenient rural location
Unfortunately, the owner was unable to welcome us to the gite, though I did speak to him on the phone. The gite is lovely with a large open plan downstairs containing the lounge, dining area and modern kitchen. There is also a separate toilet, shower room and utility room with a separate study downsairs, though it would have been better in our opinion for this room to be turned into a bedroom. Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms, a separate toilet and a bathroom. The gite is about 10 minutes from the village of Ouilly le Vicomte (the lovely Chateau de Boutemont and its gardens are just outside the village) from where you can access the D579 to Lisieux where there is an E. Leclerc supermarket, and Pont l'Eveque, from where the A13 motorway can be accessed. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at gite La Longere, and would highly recommend it.
