Looking for a breath of fresh air in a dream location in the heart of nature? Discover Le Nid de Merle, a magnificent 1.7-hectare property with breathtaking views over the Countryside. You'll be staying in an old barn that's been perfectly renovated and combines great comfort, modernity and character property. The Holiday cottage is ideal for family holidays: baby facilities, basketball court, ping-pong table. The pretty, hilly, tree-lined paths all around the Holiday cottage will give you a different way of discovering this gentle, unspoilt Countryside. The beaches of the Côte Fleurie are 20 minutes away, and if you're a gourmet, head to the Market in Pont L'Évêque on Monday mornings in search of fine Normandy produce!
Detached house near the owners' home and another Holiday cottage (5-person cottage - reference 2002). All on first floor with 3 interior steps: Living room with armchair and sofa, fitted kitchen with dining area, 2 bedrooms: 1 bedroom for 2 (1 bed 160cm) and 1 bedroom for 2 (2 beds 90cm), bathroom, WC. Terrace with garden furniture. 1.7-hectare park. Shared with the other Holiday cottage: electric car charging station (extra charge), outdoor games (pétanque pitch, pingpong table, swing, basketball court, ball games, etc.).

Bienvenue au Nid de Merle.
Manon d'origine néerlandaise et Xavier d'origine rouennaise sont les heureux propriétaires de deux gîtes depuis 2008. Très à l'écoute, ils sont ravis de pouvoir conseiller leurs clients sur les bons restaurants, les plus belles randonnées, les sorties en famille, les musées, etc… Souhaitant que les clients passent de très bonnes vacances au Nid de Merle et qu'ils aient envie d'y revenir.

Leonie Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus von Manon sehr genossen. Die Küche ist modern und sehr gut ausgestattet, sodass man problemlos für mehrere Personen kochen kann. Die Betten waren bequem, und auch die Qualität der Handtücher und Bettwäsche überzeugt. Die Aufteilung des Ferienhauses ist sehr gut.
Der Garten ist groß und gut gepflegt, mit einer tollen Aussicht auf die Umgebung. Das Grundstück ist von Hecken umgeben und lässt sich bequem über ein automatisches Tor erreichen, was zusätzlichen Komfort bietet.
Die Vermieterin, Manon, war sehr freundlich und hat uns nützliche Tipps zur Umgebung gegeben. Das Haus und das Gelände waren sauber und angenehm – einfach ein schöner Ort, um sich zu entspannen und Urlaub mit der Familie zu machen. Der Strand in Houlgate hat uns am besten gefallen.
Wir würden dieses Ferienhaus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Nienke Most beautiful spot in de Pays D'Auge
Manon and Xavier have created two beautiful gites on their grounds. The location is wonderful; brilliant view and fully equipped.
An excellent spot in the hills surrounding Pont L’Eveque.
Deauville is only 20 minutes away and is a great placenta wonder around on the beach or for shopping and french cuisine. The D-day history in Arromanches les Bains is about an hour drive. Same for the historical sites of the American and German cemetaries.This quiet location bringa a slower pace and real holiday experience!

Leonie R. Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in der Normandie
Wir hatten das Vergnügen, eine Woche in diesem charmanten Ferienhaus in der Normandie zu verbringen, und es hat alle unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Die Lage ist ideal – nur eine kurze Fahrt von den berühmten Stränden und historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region entfernt.
Das Haus selbst ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Die Kombination aus traditionellem Stil und moderner Ausstattung sorgt dafür, dass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Die Küche war komplett ausgestattet. Besonders der Garten war ein Highlight.
Manon ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie gaben uns wertvolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Märkte in der Nähe und waren immer erreichbar, falls wir Fragen hatten.
Wer Ruhe sucht, wird hier fündig, und für diejenigen, die die Normandie erkunden wollen, ist dies der perfekte Ausgangspunkt. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen und kommen bestimmt wieder!

Micha Un vrai cocoon dans un environnement bucolique
Comme toujours , nous avons été superbement accueillis par les propriétaires .
Malgré une semaine un peu pluvieuse , nous nous sommes bien adaptés au climat capricieux de ce mois de septembre et , grâce au généreux confort du gîte et aux chambres cosys ,nous avons passé une semaine agréable et surtout reposante .Nous avons pu ,enfin ,visiter des sites et des musées fort intéressants et ,pour terminer ,profiter de l'excellente cuisine du pays d'Auge . Nous reviendrons encore voir "notre"

Incredible quiet and beautiful place in a rural area. But still close enough to the hustle and bustle of the seaside, the wonderful towns and villages, and the ww2 sites. Great stay!
