Nature lovers will be delighted to stay at Ferme St Blaise, a quiet corner of the Countryside just 20 minutes from the Beach. You can discover the farm's products (organic apple juice and cider) and feed the animals: chickens, rabbits, sheep and cows. You'll be charmed by the authenticity of the interior: stone walls, wooden beams and old-fashioned furniture. An ideal place to recharge your batteries in peace and quiet. The D-Day landing beaches, Pointe du Hoc and Omaha Beach are just 25 minutes away. Just 15 minutes away, you can explore the Aure paths, which take you to the marshes of the Cotentin marshes regional park, or Bayeux, 30 minutes away. In summer, don't miss the ice-cream sales at the Isigny-sur Sea dairy.
Semi-detached house with the owner's home and a two-bedroom Bed and breakfast (n°5322). First floor: kitchen, dining room, living room, wc, shower room. Upstairs is a bedroom for 2 with 1 double bed (140x190), a second single bedroom with 1 single bed (120x190), and a third bedroom for 3 with 1 double bed (140x190) and 1 cot (80x190), adjoining this bedroom, a small dressing room with 1 baby bed, WC on the landing with sliding door. The exterior is shared, but the terrace with garden furniture is private.

C'était très bien. Nous nous sommes beaucoup amusés. Le gite était vraiment calme ! Nous avons très bien dormi. C'est l'un de nos meilleurs séjours.

Jill from Ireland A carefree stay in rural Normandie
La Ferme St Blaise is beautiful and brilliantly located for exploring all the WW11 sights (many are just 20-30 mins drive away), as well as some of the charming villages and towns of this corner of France. The gite is very roomy and full of character, especially upstairs where the lovely old furnishings add greatly to the charm of the accommodation. The kitchen is more modern in style and well equipped with a big gas cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, tub washing machine and microwave. Lots of pots and pans too and plenty cutlery and dinnerware.
Flower boxes on every window upstairs have the effect of bringing the gorgeous garden inside. The garden itself is a stunning spot, especially with a glass of wine in the evenings, surrounded by birdsong. We found Claudette so helpful and friendly, and always on hand though never intrusive. The farm's own calvados is a must-try and we regretted being able to fit only two bottles in our packed car when leaving! The gite's quiet surrounds suited us perfectly, but you should bear in mind you cannot walk to any village or shop from here. Cycling is a keen pleasure though, along quiet roads (for the most part). One of our favourite things was cycling to Trevieres (about 10kms) or Isigny-sur-mer (about 15kms), stopping for coffee and a few supplies, then meandering back in our own time.
