Peace and nature are the hallmarks of this self-catering cottage set in an unspoilt forest estate. You'll appreciate the wooded surroundings, and you're sure to spot many species of wild animals and birds: hinds, deer, roe deer, wild boar, pheasants, etc. The single-storey interior is spacious and comfortable, perfect for two couples of friends or a family, or even a couple. Ideally located in the center of Calvados, you can quickly reach many tourist sites such as the Normandy beaches, Bayeux and Caen, castles and abbeys, the Suisse Normande, the Vire gorges...
Detached house with private, enclosed grounds. It is entirely on one level and comprises a large living room with dining area, sitting area with wood-burning stove and fitted kitchen, 2 bedrooms (each with a 160x200cm bed), a shower room with large walk-in shower and separate toilet. Carport for car, motorcycle or bicycle. Terrace and lawn with garden furniture and barbecue.

Olaf et Monique Superbe Gite
If you are looking for peace and quiet in a wonderful surrounding in the middle of a forest but with all the luxury you could possibly want and in a region that is full of history and culture, this is the place to be. We have been renting gites in France for over 25 years now and this is one of the best (if not the best). A 700m forest road leads to the gite where you are regularly visited by deer, hares and all kinds of birds.

Annie Beautiful cottage in nature
We had a lovely stay in this beautifully renovated and comfortable cottage. It is situated in the middle of a forest where you can see wildlife from your window. The host is very welcoming and responsive. Would definitely recommend.

Rekha and Steve Fabulous Stay
A wonderful place to stay to explore this area of Normandy, not far from Bayeux or the Beaches. The Gite is in a very quiet location, it was clean , well portioned and well equipped. I would recommend taking some binoculars or a camera with a long range, we saw, deer, wild hare and lots of different birds. Ideal for exploring or chilling.

A Canadian Couple A Beautiful Rural Retreat
A beautiful country cottage which has been totally updated with modern facilities and is kept in excellent condition by a charming host. This was the nicest property we stayed in during our two week road trip through northern France.

Richard Un très bon gite dans les bois
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce gîte tout au bout d’un chemin au milieu des bois, et donc avec une expérience bucolique très sympathique.
Le gîte est confortable (dont la literie) et fonctionnel. Il manque peut être quelques éléments dans la cuisine (micro-ondes, bols) toutefois l’équipement reste assez complet.- Cleanliness

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce gîte.
L'emplacement est un grand atout, non seulement parce qu'il est à une courte distance des plages, de Bayeux, de Caen et de plusieurs sites touristiques, mais aussi en raison de la tranquillité et des animaux de la propriété.
