In the heart of the Pays d'Auge, nestled in a lovely, peaceful valley, this holiday cottage offers every comfort. Our donkeys will become your gentle companions. You’ll enjoy the wooded, enclosed garden, the cozy fires, and the tranquility. You’ll be just 10 minutes from Lisieux and 30 minutes from Deauville. Be sure to explore Normandy’s heritage: Orbec, Pont l’Évêque, and many other charming villages.
Detached house on the property that includes a bed and breakfast (No. 5183). On the ground floor: living room with fireplace, sitting room with armchairs and sofa, open kitchen with dining area, bathroom, and toilet. Upstairs in the attic: loft (1 single bed, 90 cm), 2 bedrooms (3 single beds, 90 cm; 1 double bed, 140 cm; 1 Baby bed). Garden with patio and outdoor furniture, lounge chairs, umbrella, and barbecue.

Beautiful, well stocked old style gite situated next to an apple orchard with donkeys. Very bucolic location. Really excellent autumnnal week with family.

Patrick Notre séjour au gîte la drouetterie à Marolles
Séjour dans un gîte, immergé en pleine nature dans la campagne normande, avec un cachet
rustique, ses poutres apparentes et mobiliers anciens.
Le gîte est décoré avec soin et chaque jour nous découvrions de nouveaux meubles et objets de décoration.
Côté équipements, il ne manquait rien, vaisselle, et l'ensemble du matériel nécessaire afin de passer un séjour agréable.
La nature est très belle tout autour et nous avons pu sympathiser avec nos amis les ânes broutant dans les prés alentour.
les propriétaires sont accueillants et d'une grande discrétion...la situation géographique permet de se rendre sur la côte normande(Houlgate, Villers-sur-mer, honfleur, Deauville, Trouville...) très facilement . Commerces à proximité en voiture.
Bref, nous recommandons pour les amoureux de pleine nature et de charme à l'ancienne le gîte la Drouetterie.- Cleanliness

Fred Basset Very pretty traditional gite
Was nice to stay in a Normande traditional restored gite. Extremely well equipped with cupboards full of crockery, glasses, saucepans, games and books (en francais). We did need every light on as it is very dark inside and we had to use the heating as we hit a cold and damp period. The steep stairs could have been tricky for les Anciens. Two drawbacks. I had not realised there was no broadband, and a weak WiFi: we would not have booked if I had noticed this. While it was nice to have an enclosed garden, the long grass - maybe the wet summer - made it difficult to clean up after our Basset Hounds. We always look for a Visitors book to learn, but there was none. Lunch was spent at the excellent Moyaux restuarant, le Bras D'or.
