This pretty thatched cottage is just 5 minutes from the center of Honfleur. The interior is very spacious, and all the windows on the first floor give access to the wooded garden. Edwige and Didier are very attached to this family home, and have planned everything for your comfort. At the back of the house, you can see the shrouds of the Pont de Normandie. Of course, Honfleur is not to be missed, but perhaps you'd like to explore the Ingres valley and its country lanes. Next door you'll find the Alleaume fruit and farm produce store. Cycle path passing in front of the property.
Detached house comprising, on the first floor, a large living room with sitting area, sofa, armchairs, fireplace, large kitchen, entrance hall with cupboard and WC. Upstairs are 2 large bedrooms, each with 1 double bed (160x200cm) and a smaller bedroom with 1 double bed (140x190cm), a bathroom and WC. Ping-pong table available in an annex to the gite. Outside, garden table, large enclosed garden.

Bienvenue à la Rivière Saint-Sauveur, à deux pas de Honfleur et du Pont de Normandie. Notre famille est productrice de fruits depuis 1850, dans cette commune. Nous sommes donc des "enfants du pays" et c'est avec plaisir que nous vous accueillerons dans notre chaumière. A bientôt, Edwige et Didier.

Nrooney A wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful thatched cottage. The house itself is big, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Our Westie, Hamish, was very safe and happy in the large garden, which is fully fenced all the way around — a real bonus when travelling with a dog.
The kitchen is extremely well equipped, with lots of useful items for cooking proper meals. Parking at the property is safe and easy, and getting into Honfleur is straightforward — just a short drive, or around a 25-minute walk to the harbour.
Honfleur is truly beautiful. The harbour, with its pointy, slim houses, looks like a postcard, and the surrounding streets are perfect for spending a day wandering, eating, and exploring. The beach is huge and sandy, and the parks offer cool, peaceful places to relax.
There’s a bakery about 20 minutes’ walk from the cottage that does excellent bread, and just 5 minutes’ drive away is a brand-new, enormous Leclerc hypermarket, plus an outlet mall — very convenient for stocking up.
All in all, a wonderful stay. Edwidge and Didier are very kind and welcoming hosts, and we’d happily return.

Aurélie Excellent séjour à la Chaumière
Très agréable semaine à la Chaumière qui est très bien équipée et avec une excellente literie.
Propriété très bien entretenue, au calme, avec un grand jardin et à proximité des commerces (boulangerie, boucherie, supermarché) et du centre d’Honfleur.
Et pour finir, les propriétaires sont très accueillants et à votre écoute pour tout renseignement.
