Facing Troarn's 13th-century abbey and its sublime Gothic arches, this Holiday cottage welcomes you for a stay as a couple or a family. You'll appreciate the large living room, exposed stonework and meticulous decoration. For your comfort, the bedding is of the highest quality. The veranda and terrace offer a splendid view of the garden and the romantic facade of the abbey. You'll be just 15 minutes from the great beaches of Cabourg and Merville. It's also conveniently located for all the shops in the village of Troarn, just 300 m away, and easily accessible from the A13 freeway, 2 km away. You can also discover the Dives marshes on foot or by bike (and the many cycle paths), the Dunéo aquatic center 10 minutes away or prestigious Deauville 30 minutes away.

The interior is laid out on a single level, with a few interior steps: living room with fitted kitchen and veranda, 1 step to the living room and the 2 en suite bedrooms (1 bedroom with 1 double bed 160cmx200cm and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds 90cm), 5 steps to the shower room and separate toilet. Outside there's a terrace with garden furniture and a communal garden. Suitable socket for recharging electric vehicles (extra charge). 2 adult-sized bicycles available. Public garden with petanque court nearby.

Bienvenue au Gite du Manoir de l'Abbaye à Troarn !
Je m'appelle Evelyne Emery, j'ai 60 ans, je suis neurochirurgien au CHU de CAEN et Professeur d'Université. J'ai deux grands enfants (Guillaume et Benoit). Je vis dans ce bel endroit historique depuis 23 ans. Un lieu qui est valorisé dans son environnement historique, calme, serein, en parfaite harmonie avec les valeurs essentielles de développement durable. J'espère que vous y vous sentirez bien.

sobenj Bon séjour
Très bon séjour chez Madame Emery qui nous a accueillis avec soin. Elle partage les légumes de son jardin, de quoi manger sainement dès notre arrivée. Le cadre est un vrai havre de paix dans un décors très agréable et soigné. Pour le séjour en famille c'était parfait toutes les activités étaient accessibles à moins de 40 min de route. Nous avons pu profité de l'océan du côté de la plage de Cabourg à une 20aine de minutes de route.

CD Un séjour paisible
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine de vacances en Normandie !
La localisation de l'hébergement est très intéressante afin de pouvoir rayonner sur une bonne partie du département et réaliser de nombreuses visites.
Mme Emery est extrêmement aimable et bienveillante.
Le lieu est un écrin de biodiversité, nous étions connectés à la nature environnante, sublimée par la magnifique vue sur l'abbaye.- Cleanliness

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte charmant, au calme et malgré tout proche de toutes les commodités. Quoi de mieux que d'être réveillés par le chant des oiseaux ? Une mention spéciale à la confiture excellente de notre hôte. Le gîte est très bien équipé et très spacieux. Je ne peux que recommander !
