Are you looking for the perfect vacation home for your family vacations or getaways with friends? Make yourself at home at the Gîte du Bois Gentil, perfectly suited for your vacations or weekend getaways: the property consists of three houses, each with sleeping areas where every family can have their own privacy, a very spacious and inviting living room where you’ll enjoy quality time together, and a comfortable lounge. The property features numerous private amenities: a gaming room with a pool table, ping-pong, foosball, darts, an indoor pool available year-round (4 m x 8 m, depth 1.50 m, maximum temperature 28 °C; in winter, if the outside temperature is 0°, the water will be 20°), and a 5-person Spa. The holiday cottage is ideally located for exploring all the must-see sites in the Bessin region: the D-Day beaches and Bayeux are just 15 minutes away. The owners are committed to preserving the property and its surroundings, so noisy events are not permitted. Bachelor and bachelorette parties are prohibited. Fireworks are prohibited on the property.
The property comprises 3 houses for a total maximum capacity of 15 people. On the first floor, the main house comprises a dining area with open kitchen, a living room, and a shower room with toilet. Upstairs are the Montgomery room for 2 people (1 x 160 cm bed) and the Bradley room for 3 people (3 x 80 cm beds, 2 of which can be converted into 1 x 160 cm bed). The 2nd Bungalow includes the Juno room for 2 people (1 bed 160 cm), the Sword room for 2 people (1 bed 160 cm) and a bathroom with WC. The 3rd Bungalow comprises the 2-person Utah room (1 x 160 cm bed) with en-suite shower room and WC, the 2-person Omaha room (1 x 160 cm bed), the 2-person Gold room (2 x 80 cm beds that can be twinned to form 1 x 160 cm bed), a shower room and separate WC. Private 2000 m² grounds with picnic tables and deckchairs.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce gîte magnifique, fonctionnel, propre et bien équipé. Nous étions 10 adultes, 4 enfants dont 2 ados qui ont bien profité de la salle de jeux et de la piscine sans oublier le jacuzzi pour les parents. Le lieu est bien situé pour permettre de visiter la Côte Normande (musées, cité de la mer ....) Accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire. Elodie est très réactive à nos demandes.

FlemishFamilyAdventu Easter week with Family
What an unforgettable Easter week we spent here with the whole family! From the very first moment, we felt welcome thanks to the warm reception. The beautiful renovation has been carried out with great care, perfectly combining charm with modern comfort. Moreover, there was more than enough privacy, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The location is ideal for day trips. We visited Omaha Beach and Utah Beach, the impressive American Cemetery, and Pointe du Hoc. Port-en-Bessin is also highly recommended, especially for its many excellent seafood restaurants. We further enjoyed the historic beauty of Arromanches, Bayeux, and Caen.
We were incredibly lucky with the wonderful weather, which allowed us to fully enjoy all the amenities. There was something for everyone—teenagers as well as young children had a fantastic time.
An absolute must-stay for anyone looking for a comfortable, charming, and perfectly located getaway!

Patdom Gite idéal pour une tribu
La propriétaire est très accueillante et sympathique. Le gite est idéalement situé pour découvrir Bayeux, Arromanches, et plus généralement la côte nord ouest du Calvados.
L'équipement du gite est juste parfait et permet à tous de partager de bons moments ensemble tout en conservant un espace personnel.

Mima l'excellence!!
l'excellence en un lieu simplement sublime. Un accueil hors pair avec ELODIE .Le lieu a été rénové avec méthodologie et pertinence .Tout est bien pensé et aménagé .Chacun a son espace de vie .Les abords super bien aménagés permettent de se déplacer sans soucis .La literie est de haute qualité !! et c'est un super atout de location .Nous avons aussi une batterie de cuisine xxl , je n'ai encore jamais vu cela .Une adresse a recommander les yeux fermés .Elodie est très réactive et dotée de bons conseils .La piscine et son jacuzzi sont top .Nous y avons passé de super bons moments en famille .Avant de quitter Elodie , nous avons déjà mis une option pour l'année prochaine .. Je vous souhaite autant de joie que nous en avons eu pour ces vacances 2026

Les tuches Séjour du 14 au 21 Février 26
Tout était parfait fidèle aux descriptions du site. Gite très confortable avec de nombreux équipements de grande qualité pour répondre à toutes nos attentes.
Des chambres indépendantes, bien conçues le tout arboré d'un terrain clos. Rénovation des lieux avec beaucoup de goût remplis de bonne intentions, de belles décorations, des photos riches de sens, une bonne literie, des sanitaires au top... et tout cela dans un environnement riche en activités diverses et variées.
Les propriétaires sont très accueillant, à l'écoute, disponible et réactifs tout en restant discret nous permettant de profiter pleinement des lieux.
