Located 15 minutes from the large sandy beach of Vierville sur Mer and 10 minutes from the Pointe du Hoc, the Gîte de l'abbaye is ideal for a family reunion or a get-together with friends. The warm, spacious living spaces offer the charm of stonework and exposed beams. The large, convivial kitchen is perfect for preparing your meals together, and you can enjoy them in front of the pellet stove, which provides constant warmth throughout the house, or on the raised terrace, which promises pleasant evenings after returning from the beach. Deux-Jumeaux is a quiet commune between sea and countryside. If you're a history buff, you're just a stone's throw from the Deux-jumeaux abbey and the main D-Day landing sites. If you're a lover of local produce, you'll be delighted to try the coquilles St Jacques de Port en Bessin in season and the oysters of Grancamp-Maisy, not forgetting the unmissable Isigny sur Mer ice cream and cream. The Bessin and Cotentin marshes nature park is 30 minutes away.
Semi-detached house with private garden. Ground floor: entrance to dining room with pellet stove, semi-open kitchen, WC, living room with direct access to raised terrace and garden (5 steps up). The second floor features a 2-person bedroom (1 bed 140x190 cm), a second 4-person bedroom accessible by descending 2 steps (2 beds 90x190 cm and 2 bunk beds 90x190 cm), an en-suite bathroom with toilet. From the second floor, a spiral staircase leads to an air-conditioned mezzanine sleeping area for 2 people (1 bed 160x200 cm) and a shower, washbasin and WC. 300 m² garden with view of the old priory, garden furniture, deckchairs. Terrace under construction. Board games, waffle maker, raclette. 2 adult bicycles available.

Les Nordistes Séjour en famille
Séjour Normand dans un gîte spacieux, confortable, propre, fonctionnel et un extérieur agréable pour des parties de ping-pong endiablées et des barbecues.
A trois familles, nous ne nous sommes pas marché sur les pieds. 1 grand salon, une cuisine très bien équipée, 2 salles de bains et 3 wc.
Les enfants ont également leur coin jouets très fourni et tout en sécurité.
Deux places de parking réservées.
Tout cela tout proche des plages et musées du débarquement.
Nous sommes ravi de ce séjour.
Nous recommandons fortement ce gite, qui accueille les animaux.

Marie Exceptionnel
Sejour d'une semaine pour le nouvel an entre amis. 4 adultes 4 enfants. Pièces spacieuses et pratiques. Une cuisine fonctionnelle , une salle à manger superbe avec son mur en pierre et son poêle à pellets, la salon cooconing.
Niveau chambres parfait chacun son espace. Un extérieur agréable qui donne envie de revenir en été . Virginie la propriétaire est tres sympathique et arrangeante. MERCI

Val Séjour Noël 2025
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de Noël dans ce gîte. Il est parfait pour un séjour entre amis ou en famille : calme, chaleureux et très bien équipé. Tout est prévu pour passer une semaine sans manquer de rien, aussi bien pour les jeux que pour les ustensiles de cuisine. Les propriétaires sont d’une gentillesse absolue et très attentionnés. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter à l’avenir, notamment pour profiter de la terrasse en été.

Mel Gîte chaleureux et paisible
Gite charmant dans lequel nous avons séjourné le temps d'un week-end pour y découvrir les lieux historiques de Normandie ! Très agréable, nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir en famille.

tomhanson31 Fabulous house in a great location
This was a fabulous find. It is a really good size house with your own parking. The house was great for cooking and family eating (including a raclette!) and there was plenty of room to spread out when relaxing. We were worried about the remote location but it was very easy to get to and from and we visited all the nearby D-day landing sites with ease. The owner was incredibly helpful and always at hand if needed. I would highly recommend this house.
