Located on the outskirts of the medieval town of Bayeux, the Holiday cottage A la Claire Fontaine enjoys a quiet, bucolic setting, ideal for a relaxing break for two. Just renovated, it combines the charm of an authentic 18th-century house with modern comforts and a tasteful decor featuring vintage accessories and creations. You can walk to Bayeux's historic center in 20 minutes. Arromanches and Omaha Beach are 15 minutes away, Port en Bessin 10 minutes and the beaches of the Côte de Nacre 20 minutes.
The Holiday cottage is in a wing of the property. The first floor comprises a living room with convertible sofa (possibility of 1 additional 140cm bed), and a separate, well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs there's 1 double bedroom (1 x 160cm bed) and a shower room with WC. Private garden of 100m² on a very large property. Garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue.

Sheila B Peaceful Haven minutes from Bayeux
The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures, immaculately clean, very comfortable, well-furnished and equipped with everything we needed. The location was excellent, although attached to the owner’s home (which is also beautiful), the clever design gives means that the apartment is not overlooked in any way, and it has its own private sun-trap garden. The location is so quiet, it was just what we were looking for. A 3-minute car ride (or 20 minute walk ) to the edge of Bayeux, it gives the best of both worlds for access to restaurants and attractions, but with the peace and quiet of the countryside. We hope to return and would not hesitate to recommend this as the perfect getaway for a couple.

Reri Hübsche Ferienwohnung mit Garten bei Bayeux
Die Ferienwohnung ist modern eingerichtet, gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Es gibt einen eigenen, kleinen Garten mit Tisch und Liegestühlen. Hier ist man völlig ungestört.
Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit.
Bayeux kann man zu Fuß in ca. 25 Minuten erreichen, mit dem Auto in 5-10 Min. Ein großer Supermarkt ist in der Nähe. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt.- Cleanliness

T&T Gite de La Claire Fontaine
We stayed at this Gite for a week. The owners made us feel very welcome. They have put a lot of care into making the Gite a practical yet lovely place to stay with everything you could need. Although attached to the owners’ house it feels very private with your own parking space and lovely private garden to sit out in. It is a very peaceful setting yet so close to the centre of Bayeux and also the convenience of a large supermarket just minutes away. An ideal base to explore the beaches, museums and sights of Normandy. We recommend it highly.
