Enjoy an exceptional stay in this contemporary home featuring top-of-the-range fixtures and fittings. You'll appreciate the spacious living room with its bay windows opening onto the south-facing terrace, which is not overlooked and is surrounded by a pleasant garden. For your comfort, all linen is provided and underfloor heating is included. The south-facing terrace is sheltered from the wind, allowing you to enjoy magnificent sunsets. At the rear, the bedroom and garden open onto a meadow overlooking the sea. The small road in front of the gîte is a "voie verte", ideal for walking or cycling. It's part of the vélomaritime network, which takes you 2 km to the beach and 4 km to Port en Bessin. You'll be in the heart of the D-Day beaches, just a few minutes from the American cemetery and Omaha Beach.
Detached house on private grounds. The interior is laid out on one level and comprises a large living room with study, lounge area with sofa bed (additional sleeping for 2 people possible), equipped kitchen area, bedroom with double bed 160x200cm, shower room, separate toilet. The exterior features a large terrace with two sets of garden furniture, parasol and barbecue, garden and private electric vehicle charging station (extra charge).

The owner is very helpful and the fruit and local produce left for us on arrival was a pleasant surprise.

RossandSue Just what we needed
We had a lovely stay at En Bord de Mer. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Francis and Mireille were waiting for us when we arrived, even though we were 30 minutes late. Any queries were addressed swiftly, such as a missing corkscrew. The location is perfect, being a block away from the main road, making it quieter, but also not far from all the sights and activities of the area. And Port en Bessin is only a 10 minute drive away for all the necessities, and Bayeux a further 20-25 minutes. And if you are a cyclist, you’ve got the ‘voies verts’ going past the house.
All in all, perfect. We would strongly recommend this gite.

Helga & Günter Séjour formidable!
Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans ce beau gîte. La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de coeur et parfaitement équippée. De la terrasse, on a une vue sur un paradis vert avec une abondance de hortensias et de roses. On ressent partout que les propriétaires sont des jardiniers enthousiastes.
En plus, la maison est idéalement située pour découvrir les lieux de mémoires du débarquement ainsi que le littoral à couper le souffle. En tant que cyclistes passionnés, nous avons apprécié que la Vélomaritime passe juste devant la maison.
Un très grand MERCI aux propriétaires pour leur hospitalité chaleureuse. Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise chez vous!- Cleanliness

JJG Perfect Stay
This small gite is perfectly located to relax and explore the Normandy coast.
The owners were very welcoming, explaining where everything was in the gite.
The gite is extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean.
