Treat yourself to a stay at the château! This gîte boasts a dazzling view of the Château d'Assy and its grounds, a château unique for its colonnaded facade and charming 16th-century chapel. The large sheltered terrace is ideal for enjoying the view. You'll appreciate the comfort of our spacious rooms and their private bathrooms. You'll be in a peaceful setting, with plenty of opportunities for hiking. You can also discover the heritage of Normandy, in particular the sites linked to William the Conqueror: Falaise Castle, Caen Castle, the Abbeys of Men and Ladies in Caen. Ouistreham beach is just 35 minutes away. All services, shops and restaurants are available in the lively town of Falaise, just 10 minutes away.
Housed in a fully renovated outbuilding of the Château d'Assy, the gîte (inspired by Marie-Antoinette's Hameau) opens onto a long covered patio via an independent entrance, leading to :
- 3 spacious bedrooms with private shower rooms and separate wc, TV, internet connection and large closet. Baby equipment is available if required.
- a fully-equipped kitchen/dining room, with sitting area and TV.
- upstairs: 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (160x200cm), private shower room and toilet.
- a large sheltered terrace with garden furniture, brazier and plancha offering a dazzling view of the Château, accentuated by the whiteness of the Caen stone, on the magnificent façade and its remarkable columns.
In addition: a 5th bedroom with 1 double bed 160x200cm, private shower room and toilet.
Access to park and château tour on request. Private parking outside the courtyard.

Perfect vacation for our family
5/5We had a wonderful time at the Chateau d'Assy. Véronique was a kind host and we never got tired of the beautiful view on the castle and 500 year-old chapel. There are lots of beautiful hikes/activities nearby. Highly recommended!

Entouré de calme et de nature, au milieu de la campagne normande.
Le gîte est très confortable, bien équipé.
La Suisse Normande est à 25 minutes de route, Falaise 15 minutes.
Avec les enfants c'est parfait!

5/5Magnifique cadre pour un séjour en famille offrant tranquillité et à proximité de beaux sites normands à visiter.
Très bon accueil de la propriétaire Mme Poux et de Mme Chérie qui sont très gentilles, à l’écoute. Ce sont des personnes très attentionnées et chaleureuses. Mme Poux nous a raconté avec passion leur histoire de l’acquisition de leur beau château. Merci à elle.
Merci également pour le petit cadeau de bienvenu et merci de nous avons permis de se balader dans votre très beau grand parc.
Super gîte bien aménagé, tout y est. Belles chambres spacieuses, confortables, bien équipées.
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine qui nous a permis de nous retrouver en famille. Le magnifique temps nous a donné l’occasion de profiter de la grande belle terrasse du petit-déjeuner au dîner avec sa belle vue sur le château.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisirs
