Stay just outside Bayeux in this comfortable Holiday cottage. It's ideal for two, with its cosy living room and top-of-the-range bedding. The well-oriented terrace with its deckchairs welcomes you back from your walks. Bayeux City is a 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk away. The City, famous for its tapestry, is also very dynamic, with shops, restaurants, Museums, Cinema, aquatic center, etc. Bayeux's historic center features cobblestone streets, half-timbered houses, numerous hôtels particuliers and a superb cathedral. The City is also an excellent base for visiting the D-Day sites and beaches.
Holiday cottage in an annex to the owners' home. Access on foot via the shared garden. Private terrace for the Holiday cottage with garden furniture and deckchairs. The Holiday cottage is laid out on one level with a living room (kitchen, dining room and sitting area with sofa), a hallway with a toilet, a bedroom (double bed 160x200) and a shower room with access from the bedroom. Shared Kids' play area. Bicycle shed.

We had a very nice stay. The location was perfect. Quiet, but close to the centre of Bayeux. And the cottage was perfect as well. Very complete and clean. With enough privacy.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans ce gîte très fonctionnel. Nous remercions les propriétaires pour leur très bon accueil, leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité.
Nosu avons été agréablement surpris de trouver tout le nécessaire pour la toilette en plus du linge qui était inclus dans le gîte (coton tige, savon, brosse à dent et dentifrice).
Un séjour parfait !

Derek Cycling the Normandy Coast
We booked the Gite as a base for a 3 week cycling holiday incorporating the Normandy coast and its 80th anniversary celebrations of D Day.
The property is on a quiet estate about a 30 minute stroll into the very centre of Bayeux. As keen walkers this was ideal for us.
InterMarche and Lidl supermarkets are a 5 minute car journey away.
We found the owners very helpful and whilst friendly they gave us space to enjoy our holiday.
The Gite itself is ideal for 2 people and was nicely presented on our arrival with a welcome pack of locally produced goodies.
It has everything required for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped ,lounge area comfortable with a good sized TV with access to Netflix & Amazon Prime if required.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower room was modern with a large walk in shower.
Clean bedding and towels were provided at the end of each week as a matter of course which was much appreciated.
A safe secure area was also provided for the storage of our bikes.
The family cat was a regular welcome visitor to the small sun terrace but never made any attempt to enter the Gite.
Overall we would be more than happy to recommend this Gite and would have no hesitation in returning if we return to Bayeux in the future.- Cleanliness
