Martha Perfect gite to explore Honfleur
The gite was as described - compact but perfect for a couple. The bed was comfortable and the enclosed garden a joy. Philippe, (the owner) lives in a cottage next door. He was the perfect host - there if we needed him but certainly not intrusive. The gite is situated just a 15 minute walk (5 minutes maximum in the car) from the centre of Honfleur where you will find all the restaurants (spoilt for choice) and boats. Even after a week exploring beautiful Honfleur we were still finding nooks and crannies that we hadn’t seen before. Even an Aldi was just 2 minutes away, a petrol station just 4 minutes away so everything is on your doorstep.
