19 km from Thoiry castle and safari zoo, 20 km from Montfort l'Amaury with its charming cobbled streets and surroundings (Sainte Anne tower, Saint Pierre church), 34 km from Les Vaux-de-Cernay with its ponds, 75-hectare park and fabulous abbey, 35 km from the Saint Quentin en Yvelines leisure park (accrobranches, leisure park), 42 km from the Château de Versailles and its royal city (Saint Louis district), 42 km from Giverny (home of painter Claude Monet, Impressionist Museum).

Bien placé au centre de Houdan.
Tous les commerces à pied.
Le marché devant le gîte le vendredi matin.
Les forets à proximité.
Le jardin est idéal par beau temps.
Les fraises ne sont pas encore mûres.
Machine à café compatible dolche gusto.
Pour résumer on y est bien.
La gare est à 15 minutes à pied à peine.
La gare de Houdan est à 56 minutes de la gare de Paris Montparnasse.(ligne N direction Dreux)- Cleanliness

Cathy Excellent séjour !
Nous avons séjourné 5 jours au sein du gîte de M. Et Mme Renault à Houdan et aurions aimé y rester plus longtemps...
La maison est vraiment très agréable : très propre, très grande, très bien décorée, très bien disposée, excellente literie....
Le jardin est immense. Nous avons pu y déjeuner et profiter du soleil grâce aux transats et au mobilier à disposition. Notre petit chien était également ravi de gambader dans ce grand espace de verdure.
Par ailleurs, le gîte se trouve en plein centre de Houdan. Il y a donc tous les commerces à proximité immédiate : boulanger, boucher, traiteur, fromager, supérette...Il y a également plein de bons petits restaurants à découvrir.
A noter également : le marché s'installe au pied de la maison le vendredi matin. Vous avez juste à ouvrir la porte pour faire vos emplettes !
Bref, situation idéale pour laisser la voiture au garage et se ressourcer en plein cœur de ce joli village médiéval.
Merci infiniment aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse, leur réactivité et leur disponibilité.
Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir dans ce gîte.

serge et nath gite rue d epernon
Comme à l'accoutumé nous avons été ravi de passer ces quelques jours en famille dans ce beau gite. Même si la literie reste de moyenne qualité le logement est très fonctionnel et super bien équipé.
Nous y reviendrons très probablement.
Sans oublier l'accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires et toujours disponible
