Surrounded by nature and located right next to the Forest, this holiday cottage—which sleeps 6—is ideal for a getaway in the countryside with family or friends, less than an hour from Paris.

Located in Les Essarts-le-Roi, in a beautiful natural setting, La Forêt is a holiday cottage housed in a historic Yvelines farmhouse currently undergoing renovation. Set on an active farm, near a second holiday cottage and the owner’s home, it offers an authentic and peaceful setting in the heart of the Chevreuse Valley.

This 6-person holiday cottage is perfect for families, groups of friends, or travelers looking to enjoy the tranquility of the Countryside while remaining close to amenities and the main tourist attractions in the Yvelines.

You’ll have access to a spacious, unfenced private garden of 1,500 m² with patio furniture and a barbecue, ideal for outdoor meals, relaxation, and family games. An unsecured lake in front of the farmhouse adds to the charm of the location and invites you to take in the unspoiled rural surroundings.

Nature lovers will appreciate the immediate proximity to the forest, as well as the many hiking trails, bike routes, and horseback riding paths that crisscross the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Nature Park.

Entrance to living room with open fireplace (one wheelbarrow of wood offered per week, then €10 extra per wheelbarrow), 100cm TV and WIFI.

Floor 1:
Two bedrooms, each with two single beds 90x200cm (can be twinned to form a double bed 160x200cm).
Bathroom with shower and washbasin. Separate WC.


2nd floor:
Attic bedroom with two single beds 90x200cm (can be twinned to form a double bed 160x200cm).
Chair and baby bed available on request.

Private 1500m² garden with garden furniture and barbecue.
