La Petite ferme des Prés de Garnes was the farm of the Château de la Cour Senlisse, which you'll notice just opposite on the north side.
It was what's known as a souâton farm. Work was shared among the villagers. They pooled their horses to work in the fields.
Just 20km from the City of Versailles and its château, and 10km from Rambouillet (château and garden, hospital), you'll find yourself on the north-eastern edge of the Forest de Rambouillet. Nearby, the Vaux-de-Cernay site with its ponds, 75-hectare park and fabulous abbey. Just 6km away, the Château de Breteuil will delight the whole family, transporting you into the world of Perrault's fairy tales.
For a getaway to Paris, Essarts le Roi station (7km), Line L, to Montparnasse station 45min.

West wing. First floor: dining room with 3m70 table. Fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer, ceramic hob, pod coffee maker and dishwasher. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Gaïa living room with armchairs and 110cm TV.
Two bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and WC, each with 2 beds 90x190 (one with electric bed for disabled people).
Upstairs: One bedroom with 2 beds 90x190, private bathroom with shower and WC. A suite with two bedrooms (2 beds 90x200 and 2 beds 90x190cm), private bathroom with shower and WC. Separate WC.
No baby equipment.
