We invite you to come and spend a holiday in the heart of the Vallée de Cheveresue regional nature park, less than an hour from Paris, yet so far from the pressure of the cities.
La Petite ferme des Prés de Garnes was the farm of the Château de la Cour Senlisse, which you'll notice just opposite on the north side.
It was what's known as a souâton farm. Work was shared among the villagers. They pooled their horses to work in the fields.
Just 20km from Versailles and its château, and 10km from Rambouillet (château and garden, hospital), you're on the northeastern edge of the Rambouillet forest. Nearby, the Vaux-de-Cernay site with its ponds, 75-hectare park and fabulous abbey. Just 6km away, the Château de Breteuil will delight the whole family, transporting you into the world of Perrault's fairy tales.
For a getaway to Paris, Essarts le Roi train station (7km), Line L, to Montparnasse train station 45min

Gîte for 10 people in a 4-hectare unfenced park (possibility of renting for 15 people gîte n°782222).
West wing: first floor: living room with dining area and 110cm TV, fully-equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, ceramic hob, pod coffee maker and dishwasher. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Living room with armchairs, chairs, sofa and TV.
Two bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and WC, each with 2 beds 90x190 (one with electric bed for disabled people).
Upstairs: One bedroom with 2 beds 90x190, private shower room and WC. A suite with two bedrooms (2 beds 90x200 or 1 bed 180x200), private bathroom with shower and WC. Separate WC.
No baby equipment.
