Located at the crossroads of two major routes: the Avenue Verte Paris-Londres and the Chemin de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle, Refuge Fontaine Couture is also 100 m from the Maison du Parc and the Musée du Vexin, 20 km from Pontoise, 28 km from Auvers-sur-Oise (Van Gogh tomb, castle, museums). 24 km from La Roche-Guyon, "one of the most beautiful French villages" (castle, Seine valley...).

The gîte is on the first floor of the former stables adjoining the owners' home.

le calme de la campagne
5/5Nous avons passé quelques jour dans ce gite. C'était notre deuxième expérience et elle a été similaire à la première : des hôtes accueillants, souriants, disponibles et discrets à la fois. Une maison comme il faut : le calme de la campagne, des chambres spacieuses, des literies parfaites, une décoration comme il faut. Le gite est idéal pour des vacances à Paris sans séjourner à Paris. A 10 minutes du RER en voiture avec la possibilité de profiter du calme de la campagne. Nous sommes ravis et nous reviendrons dans ces gite avec plaisir ! Merci beaucoup !

Joli refuge d'étape pour une randonnée avec un âne
5/5Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte magnifique, au coeur du joli village de Théméricourt et profité de belles journées ensoleillées dans le jardin aux très belles fleurs. Le gîte était notre point de chute pour trois jours de randonnées avec un âne dans le parc du Vexin, à travers champs, forêts et jolis villages. L'accueil de Marie-Noëlle et de Rob est très sympathique. Nous recommandons fortement ce lieu !

The Best of Both Worlds
5/5The house is located in a beautiful village in the Vexin countryside, yet just 10 minutes drive from Pontoise & Cergy-le-Haut stations where regular trains / RER will whisk you into Central Paris. So you have a peaceful place to stay in a characterful house set in a delihtful garden with plenty to do locally, and in an hour you can be in central Paris. And then after a busy day of sightseeing, art and culture you can escape to tranquillity, to pigeons roosting in the dovecote, to swallows whizzing through the air, to the church bells ringing the hours. In every sense the best of both worlds, enhanced by the care Marie Noelle takes and the little touches in the house that make it feel like home.

Agréable week-end
5/5Nous avons passé un agréable week-end entre amis dans le logement de Marie-noëlle, qui est très agréable au niveau des espaces, des salles d'eau et des chambres. Il n'y a pas de télévision, mais cela ne nous a pas manqué. Tout y est charmant, bien pensé et bien equipé. Les chambres ont beaucoup de charme et les odeurs d'huiles essentielles sont superbes pour les moments de détente. La literie est très bonne. Le ménage et linge de lit (et de douche) inclus sont aussi très appréciés, ce qui permet de profiter jusqu'au bout de notre séjour. Le logement est équipé d'un lave vaisselle, lave linge, sèche linge, d'un four, d'un service à raclette etc.
Je recommande vivement le logement de Marie-noëlle, avec ses extérieurs qui sont aussi magnifique, un petit coin de paradis.
Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
