L'escampette

L'Escampette is a place for living, welcoming and sharing around the ecological transition, located in the village of Aincourt in the heart of a vast garden.

Located in the heart of the Vexin region, l'Escampette is a third-party community with ecological values, comprising: - a 220 m² gîte - the owner's home - and a 4000 m² shared garden where everyone can enjoy privacy and peace and quiet. We organize events in the garden on certain weekends (contact us).

The group gîte aims for energy sobriety and zero waste... here there are no dishwashers or washing machines, an outdoor pantry in winter, fridge on request, a dry toilet (+ 2 with water). Guests are invited to bring their own sheets, pillowcase, sleeping bag and towel. You may come across us in the garden, busy gardening. If you feel like it, we can introduce you to permaculture in a space that makes room for biodiversity.

The 50 m² room can be fitted out for your activities, and meals/catering/entertainments can be suggested.
Close to the Paris-London green bike route, numerous hiking trails (PR, GR 2 and 11), golf courses, canoeing, etc. Access by car: Public transport drops you off 10 km away in Magny or Mantes.

First floor: Kitchen: 4-burner gas stove and oven, dining room with 2 tables for 8/10 and 4/5 people. Dry toilets.
Spacious 50 m2 living room.
Upstairs: 13 single beds in 5 bedrooms for 2 or 3 people.
2 bathrooms with shower and WC.

Cleaning is the customer's responsibility, but if this is not possible, a cleaning package can be arranged at a cost of 100 euros.
