In the north-west of the Parc naturel régional du Vexin Français, enjoy walks and moments of relaxation along paths accessible on foot, on horseback or by bike, just a few kilometers from the Paris conurbation. If you want to discover nature and culture, choose a bike ride on the Avenue Verte Paris-Londres.
La Roche Guyon (one of France's most beautiful villages) 4 km away (Route des crêtes, castle and keep). Domaine de Villarceaux (château, estate, golf course, oecocentre) 6 km away. The House of Claude Monnet 12 km away and the Fondation sur la route des peintres impressionnistes in Giverny 13 km away. An 86 m² self-catering gîte with the "Accueil Vélos" label is located on a property that includes guest rooms, in an old farmhouse typical of the Vexin park.
First floor: living and dining area with open fireplace, office area (no TV). One 90x200cm extra bed. The kitchen is equipped with 3 induction hobs, microwave oven, electric oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. WIFI via fiber optics.
First floor: 3 bedrooms, each with 1 double bed (140x200cm). Separate WC. Bathroom with bath and shower screen, washing machine and WC.
Cot and high chair available on request.
Unenclosed 400m² garden with shaded terrace under fruit trees, garden furniture, barbecue.
Electric underfloor heating (charges not included), wood-burning fireplace (€10 per wheelbarrow). End-of-stay cleaning included and beds made up on arrival.

Gîte très agréable
5/5Le gîte est grand, fonctionnel et agréable.
Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié de jouer dans le jardin, et de faire de la balançoire.
Il y a une superbe balade à faire en partant à pied de Chérence jusqu'à La Roche-Guyon par le GR.
L'aérodrome de Chérence est à quelques centaines de mètres du gîte et propose des vols d'initiation en planeur.

5/5Uitstekende ligging om te fietsen, mooie paden langs de Seine. Giverny (Monet), La roche Guyon met een interessant kasteel en prachtige tuin, la route des cretes, alles niet veraf per fiets. Zeer rustige ligging, mooi verblijf, uitleg over de streek, parking voor auto en fietsen. Een aanrader!

5/5We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Petite Ferme. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, with a very well-equipped kitchen. Lovely to have a dishwasher and a washing machine!
Beautiful villages and small towns (La Roche Guyon and Vétheuil, both with v good boulangeries/pâtisseries) only a stone's throw away, and lots of lovely spots for a picnic on the Route des Crêtes ridge with sweeping views of the Seine below. Monet's garden and the Musée des Impressionnismes at Giverny both well worth a visit, and plenty to do in the nearby larger towns of Mantes-la-Jolie and Vernon. Fast trains from Mantes to Paris make it possible to do day trips into Paris.
No shortage of options for eating out nearby, from pizzas (La Casa Victoria) to crêpes (La Cancalaise). For fine dining, we can highly recommend Auberge du Prieuré Normand at Gasny and Le Moulin de Fourges. We twice tried to get a table at Le Bistrot des Fleurs in Vernon but it was fully booked, so it must be good!!
All in all, a lovely place for a break in the beautiful French countryside.- Cleanliness 4/5
