Holiday cottage La Glycine is located in a village of international renown, made famous by Van Gogh and the Impressionist painters who were seduced by the exceptional light of the area.
Just a stone's throw from the château, you can visit the church painted by Van Gogh, the cemetery where he is buried alongside his brother Theo, the Ravoux inn, where he died, Daubigny's studio, Dr Gachet's house and the Absinthe Museum.
You'll have direct access to the Vexin's hiking and cycling trails. A stroll along the River Oise will take you to Le Botin, a replica of Daubigny's boat, where you can embark on a cruise.
Pontoise is 6 km away, Saint-Germain-en-Laye 28 km, Paris 31 km, Chantilly 37 km, Versailles 47 km and the Stade de France 24 km. Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport is 40 km away.
Bus stop 200 m from Cergy or Pontoise, shops 10 min walk and train station 800 m away.

Après une longue carrière administrative à Paris, j'ai souhaité vivre ma retraite plus près de la campagne.
J'habite Auvers sur Oise depuis toujours et vis dans ma maison natale où j'ai créé le gîte. C'est une ancienne auberge datant de la fin 19°.

Les Loulous Petit nid idéal et accueil aux petits soins
Tout est parfait dand ce gîte douillet: la déco, l'équipement très complet, les espaces extérieurs et intérieurs, la localisation dans un rue calme sans oublier la place de parking privé bien nécessaire dans les rue étroites d'Auvers.
Et puis il y a l'accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires, Nicole et Alain. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Le gîte est idéal pour visiter Auvers mais aussi pour visiter Paris via le train francilien. Un bijou!- Cleanliness

C'est une belle rencontre que nous avons fait avec Mme et M. Meyer. La sympathie a été immédiate. Nous les reverrions avec joie à la Glycine ou ailleurs. Et ils ont laissé le gîte impeccable. Les équipes Gîtes de France doivent les privilégier.

T v Veen Great, clean and quiet gite in beautiful village
Great gite at great location. Especially for visiting the Vexin nature park, the Van Gogh and Daubigny sites in the villages, the Chantilly castle and Paris (by train from the Mery sur Oise, in 40 minutes at Gare du Nord). We enjoyed it a lot.

Très bon accueil et échange avec les propriétaires qui demeurent sur place. Le logement est spacieux, très propre, parfaitement équipé et très calme, avec une place pour se garer devant le gîte, ce qui n'est pas négligeable dans ce village très touristique. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce gîte idéalement situé près du centre ville, du château et à proximité des lieux touristiques: Ce qui ne manquent pas à Auvers s/Oise et aux alentours.
Nicole nous a accueillis avec "une surprise maison" et nous l'en remercions encore, nous nous sommes régalés (en famille).
Nous gardons cette adresse et reviendrons sans hésiter lors de notre prochaine visite à notre famille et à nos amis Auversois.- Cleanliness

Gaju Séjour à Auvers sur Oise très bien
