Welcome to SANTEUIL, a charming rural village of 600 inhabitants, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Vexin Français, nestled in the "green lung" of the Val d'Oise. Easy to reach from Paris (50 km), Santeuil even has a train station that takes you from Paris Saint-Lazare in 50 minutes! (Line J Paris - Gisors).
The "Holiday cottage de Santeuil" is located in the oldest part of the village, on the hillside right next to the church. The stone house probably dates back to 1776, and has retained all its original charm.
Santeuil is a real tourist gem, ideal for a bucolic getaway in the heart of nature, immersing yourself in French history and culture. The Val-d'Oise offers vast green spaces, parks and numerous Hiking trails. You'll discover enchanting spots for outdoor strolls.
All shops 3 km away. Organic cooperative in the village, with the possibility of ordering before arrival (bread, fruit, vegetables, meat, wine...).
120 m² Holiday cottage in a traditional house in the Parc Naturel du Vexin, close to the owners' house.
Entrance into large living room with open, fully-equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, 4 ceramic hobs, electric oven, filter coffee maker). Living room with sofa and dining area. Separate toilet with washing machine.
Wood-burning stove. WIFI (fiber).
Second floor: one bedroom with a 140x190cm four-poster bed, one bedroom with two 90x190cm beds that can be twinned to form a 180x190cm bed.
Bathroom with Italian shower and WC.
Second floor: a large master suite with two 90x190cm beds that can be made into one 180x190cm bed, a bathroom with bath and WC. Baby equipment available on request.
Holiday cottage all-inclusive (energy costs, bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning).
400 m from the SNCF train station on the Paris-Saint-Lazare line, with access to Paris in 50 minutes.

Belle adresse campagnarde à 1 heure de Paris
5/5Week-end printanier très agréable et ressourçant où la gentillesse et la qualité d'accueil de Pierre s'associent au charme et au calme du lieu pour faire d'une escapade un excellent souvenir.
Entre une splendide Église du 13e siècle et un magnifique cerisier où il suffit de tendre les mains pour savourer ses fruits, la vue dégagée sur un pré où se reposent des chevaux, des balades à pied en pleine nature, des transats pour bouquiner, les citadins ont l'embarras du choix pour se détendre. Les chambres et les lits sont confortables, rien à dire.
Ce gîte est idéalement situé, très accessible en train ou en voiture.

Rustig verblijf
3/5Het is op zich een fijne koele woning maar wel wat opmerkingen. De foto’s op de site zijn niet de werkelijkheid. Woonkamer is vrij klein voor 6 personen, oude viezige bank, eetkamer stoelen van ijzer en daar zit je eigenlijk het meeste. 2 waterglazen voor 6 personen, 1 theedoek voor 2 weken en moesten vragen om meer. Geen blikopener. Bedden vrij hard en planken vielen er onderuit. Geen opbergruimte op de slaapkamers voor kleren als je langer blijft dan 1 dag, erg jammer. Beneden veel spinnenrag.
Wel fijn is 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers en 3 wc’s!
Eigenaar zeer vriendelijk en deed echt zijn best. Vrouw was eerste week weg dus een keer gezien. Mochten gebruik maken van hun tuin, niet gedaan maar mocht wel.
We zouden er 2 weken verblijven maar in verband met de afstand gingen we na een week weg.- Cleanliness 3/5

Nous sommes un peu étonnés de certains de vos commentaires.
Les photos et le descriptif sur site ont été réalisés par Gites de France, qui ont contrôlé la surface et l'état du gite de Santeuil. Ils sont d'accord sur 6 personnes. Vous n'étiez que 3 personnes + un bébé.
L'équipement de la cuisine : il y a un nombre conséquent de verres largement suffisant pour 6 personnes. Idem pour les torchons : il y en avait 3 à l'origine, et dès que vous nous avez fait ces remarques, nous avons complété dans la minute sans discuter ces équipements.
Vous avez raison, il n'y avait pas d'ouvre-boites (c'est un oubli), nous vous en aurions fourni un dans l'instant si vous nous l'aviez demandé.
Le canapé est neuf, mais effectivement, il y a un problème de peluchage du revêtement. Nous avons rendu le canapé au vendeur qui l'a échangé.
Là où vous avez indéniablement raison, c'est l'absence de rangement pour les vêtements dans chaque chambre. Nous avons corrigé ce manque par l'achat de mobilier adapté.
Quant aux toiles d'araignées, il peut y en avoir eu au bout de quelques jours, nous sommes dans une maison ancienne, rénovée, dans la campagne.
Nous sommes bien évidemment navrés que votre séjour ait été gâché par ces désagréments et faisons tout pour satisfaire nos hôtes. -
