Matthias Great stay at Le Clos du Tertre
Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Le Clos du Tertre. The location is magnificent, very close to some good climbing areas, and also very peaceful. Stéphane is a friendly host who is very knowledgeable about the area and climbing options in general. He gave us great tips and a hearty breakfast to get us started. We will definitely be back!

Conall Great accommodation for climbing
I greatly enjoyed my stay here. My two friends and I fit quite comfortably in one room and had no issues with the room or the bathroom. We did not use the kitchen very much but it looked like it had everything one would need. Being so close to a bakery and some restaurants allowed us to spend more time climbing and less time looking for food and planning. Even without a car you can reach some really great crags on foot on a relatively flat path. The breakfast was lovely and Stephane is a great host who is very knowledgeable about the area and climbing in general. His homemade jams were very good! The pads he provided us were high quality, light and very reasonably priced (half the price I have payed in other countries). We used two small pads and one large pad but I think you could get away with just three small pads or two large pads. As we did not have a car, we borrowed his e-bikes for free and did a 40 minute cycle to a nice river. There is a bridge to jump off of if the water is not too shallow.
I would highly recommend staying here, especially if you like climbing. Everything is incredibly convenient!

Saleb2860 Le Clos du Tertre
We stayed during our 3-day climbing trip and had an absolute blast. Stef, the host, is so warm and friendly and we had some wonderful conversations over breakfasts. He is very knowledgeable about the climbing in the area and gave us some great pointers for our climbing days. The gîte is right by the Elephant and Dame Jouanne areas, and we were able to rent crash pads and borrow bikes from Stef to make our climbing experience so easy and enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Bon rapport qualité-prix et excellent accueil du propriétaire. Nous avons apprécié les petits déjeuners en sa compagnie. L'espace cuisinette et salon dédié aux visiteurs est très appréciable pour les diners du soir notamment.

Un très bel endroit, un propriétaire aux petits soins pour ses hôtes, et des petits déjeuners au top.
Et comble du raffinements, pour les grimpeurs, de nombreux sites de blocs à maxi 10 min en voiture que Stéphane connaît très bien et dont les conseils avisés vous permettront d’en profiter au maximum
