La Vieille Demeure

The "Vieille Demeure" bed and breakfast is nestled in the heart of the iconic village of Barbizon; this charming, family-run bed and breakfast welcomes you with a warm and artistic atmosphere that stays true to the spirit of the place.

On the ground floor, guests have access to a private living room (33 m²) where they can relax with a TV, as well as a reading area near the fireplace. Breakfast is served in the spacious kitchen.

The bed and breakfast room (47 m²) is on the first floor and features a double bed (160 x 200) and a single bed (90 x 190), ideal for a couple with a child. A unique feature is the bathtub that takes center stage in the room. Separate restroom.

The decor is elegant and tasteful, reflecting the artistic sensibility of the owner, who has created a harmonious and inspiring space that perfectly suits the village of Barbizon, the birthplace of the Impressionist painters.

Outside, a beautiful garden invites you to enjoy peace and serenity—perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the Forest of Fontainebleau or the village’s art galleries. Restaurants and shops are available in the village.
