La Maison du Haras

A peaceful haven where history and nature come together, less than 10 minutes from the châteaux of Vaux-le-Vicomte and Blandy-les-Tours, and 20 minutes from the Forest of Fontainebleau. We welcome you to our fully renovated holiday cottage, nestled in the heart of nature on our 23-hectare family-run equestrian estate dating back to the 16th century, where the wellbeing of the horses and the art of living are our guiding principles. Just two minutes from the A5 highway, Paris is only 45 minutes away from the holiday cottage. You’ll be ideally located between the three châteaux of Seine-et-Marne, Disneyland Paris, and Provins. Melun and the Paris-Villaroche business park are less than 15 minutes away.

This typical Briard-style house features a separate entrance (with a locked gate) where you can park your car, a private courtyard, and a tree-lined garden overlooking the stables. You’ll find outdoor furniture and a barbecue for al fresco dining.

The holiday cottage, accessible via a few steps, is on one level. The living room features an old fireplace, a flat-screen TV, and a dining area that completes the space. The kitchen is bright and fully equipped. Separate restroom.
- “Garden-Side Suite”: Living room with a comfortable sofa bed (sleeps 2), adjoining bedroom with a queen-size bed, bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet.
- “Courtyard-Side Suite”: Spacious living room, also equipped with a sofa bed (sleeps 2). Bedroom with a queen-size double bed, bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet.
- "Garden-Side Room": One queen-size bed, bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet.
Access to the sports hall above the stables. Numerous walking trails to explore the estate, its moats, and outdoor fitness equipment near the Forest.

Stalls are available for rent for your horses, with access to pastures so you can enjoy the facilities, take part in training courses, or go for a ride in the Fontainebleau Forest—a 20-minute drive by van or truck (trucks are available for rent).

- Included in the rate: Wi-Fi (high-speed fiber). Bed linens.
- Additional charges: From October 1 to April 30, to ensure your comfort, a €20/day heating surcharge applies. Electricity and water. Pet fee (€5/night/pet—maximum 2 pets—dogs must be kept on a leash). Visitor’s tax.
- Optional services: bath linens (€8 per person). Cleaning fee (€70).

For companies and business travelers: Cleaning fee is mandatory.
