The "Apremont" gîte is located in the heart of this village known to be the birthplace of the Impressionist painters. Even today this destination is a must for art lovers.
Denise, your host, welcomes you to this charming gite located in the main street of Barbizon where shops and art workshops rub shoulders.
The gîte is on one level with a small step at the entrance. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living room is cozy with a sofa and a TV and a dining area with a decorative fireplace. The large bedroom has 2 single beds (90x200) which can be arranged in a 180x200 version.
For sunny days you can enjoy the typically Briard courtyard with its courtyard and garden furniture, fish pond.
In short, if you are a lover of the Arts or simply a lover, this gîte is made for you!
Possibility to park the car in the courtyard. The laundry room is accessible from the courtyard and you have a washing machine and a dryer.

Un havre de paix et de confort au coeur du village
5/5Un grand plaisir d'avoir pu séjourner dans ce gîte plein de charme et idéalement situé en plein centre du village de Barbizon, à quelques mètres de tous les commerces nécessaires. Le lieu est très accueillant et très confortable, bénéficiant d'une merveilleuse cour arborée et fleurie où il est agréable de prendre un repas ou boire un café, et les pièces restent très fraîches même en cas de fortes chaleurs, ce qui est très appréciable en cette saison. Accueil chaleureux par la propriétaire, tout est pensé et aménagé pour un séjour idéal !

Cozy appartment with a lovely front garden
5/5We loved the front garden of the appartment with roses and a pond with fish. Situated on the main street but quiet with easy to access groceries and restaurants. The owner was super friendly and gave us a tour in the museum. We really enjoyed our 2-week-stay and hopefully will come back next year.
